Cubs tickets on sale today

Post by hellsharpt »

anyone else in the virtual waiting room? I've got about 15 windows open.

While I'm not a big baseball fan there's not alot better than a Cubs game on a hot Saturday afternoon.

Lol being in an air conditioned room watching the game on a big-screen with beer that doesn't cost like $5 per cup. Oh and free food.

Did I mention the air-conditioning? Oh and I really did forget to mention a nice cozy couch or chair.

EDIT: I don't like baseball too much. The only game I'll watch is the World Series games. And they aren't that entertaining...
Peace.

I don't buy baseball tickets in advance. But then again, I follow the A's; half of the stadium is empty most of the time except when the big team rolls in.

being there is VERY different than watching on TV. As I said, I'm not a big baseball fan, in fact I don't watch any on TV.

For those that haven't been to a cubs game, well its different, the closest I can equate it to is a Red Sox game. Its about the fans.

I agree, the only sport i actually watch on TV would be F1, but when i went there... O it was so different, it was so much more fun, the excitement, the energy, the sounds, the crowds! Its all part of it.

The football matches ive watched here have always turned into an experience never to forget, i guess the most memorable one would be the SINGvsINDO match, when i was watching it with my friend (Singapore Ambassador's son) and INDO was loosing.

Well the crowds turned a bit, "rowdy" so we had to get evacuated... Nothing else gets the adrenalin pumping like a good ol mob chasing you :D

But yeah, even if you dont like the sport that much, its always an experience to watch a match or race live :D

And the stadium. I would love to catch a game at Wrigley some time.

True. I've been dragged to an A's game before. Me and my bro forced our parents to take us home early lol. Still, it was mildly entertaining for like an hour.
Peace.

I once went to see a baseball game. It was more boring then watching it on tv, which is worse then watching the tv guide...with the power off.

Lol yeah I'd honestly prefer relaxing by my lonesome on my computer than wasting all that time getting sun-cancer watching dudes hit a ball.
Peace.
