God I love self-ownage.
Geedunk is the almighty king of self-ownage. Every time he opens his mouth and tries to sound smart he makes himself look like an idiot.
And by the way Geedunk, discussion of cracks and pirated software is strictly prohibited on this forum. So you owned yourself twice.
LOL

Um, no. A huge number of viruses are written specifically to get around the major commercial antivirus programs like MacAfee and Norton.
Um, okay. Um, sorry for generalising. Um.
Would you like to know my basis for that statement? Money=quality. Ever heard the phrase 'you get what you pay for'?
Not that I'm arguing what you said, in fact that's a pretty good point I hadn't thought of. Yet I still doubt something 100% free could work quite as thoroughly and efficiently as something that took money and resources to produce. Something free LIKELY didn't require many recourses or much money. Right?
We'll see when I try these things out.
Oh and Geedunk, I'm gonna laugh when you get infected with something. How about...my brain...AND protection software??????!!!!!
You see people make mistakes. Yes even supreme higher beings like yourself.
Peace.

That's all you. The fact of the matter is that WoW is comprised of a bit more quality than SRO.
Anywhere you happen to be in both games, take a nice long look around you at your surroundings. WoW's environments can be breathtaking for an MMO. The level of clarity and detail goes so far beyond SRO.
Customer support is another great example. In ISRO, the concept of customer support is almost non-existant. In WoW, it's excellent.
Playable dimensions...In WoW you can both swim and fly. I dunno bout the flying but I know you can fight while swimming as well. SRO has neither of these. They seem simple but it's huge.
I've only played WoW for like a month or so...yet I could go on if time wasn't a luxury.
SRO's got...cool looking characters over WoW. That's about it IMO.

Narrowed it down to Kaspersky and Rising.
Kaspersky has a West Coast Labs check for spyware, anti-virus lvl 1, anti-virus lvl 2, and trojans, as well as a 100% grade from Virus Bulletins and a certified seal from ISCA anti-virus labs.
Rising has a West Coast Labs check for anti-virus lvl 1, anti-virus lvl 2, and trojans - but no check for spyware. It's also got a seal from TUV and 5 'cows' from Tucows, both of which are companies that grade the effectiveness of products out on the market. It's the #1 choice of PC Magazine, as well.
Rising Anti-Virus + Firewall 2007 = $49.99 ONCE AND ONLY ONCE.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus software = $49.99 ONCE PER YEAR. I'm not sure if there is some sort of Firewall system included within the Kaspersky software....and if there's not, I think I'll be going with Rising.
Hmmmmm hmmmmm what to do what to do...
