Haha this just goes to proove they do check up on bug reports but ladyasiana pmed me on a report that i was using an illegal 3rd party program ofc i wasnt so i had nothing to worry about but stil they do check up so watch out

Well someone did suggest a possible way to programatically detect botters (at least most of the botters). I don't remember now who it was, someone on SRF, but it was something like this:

When a client connects (be it legit or bot), the SRO servers can send an encrypted packet to the client. The client would decrypt this packet, encrypt a response, and send it back. If the server receives a proper encrypted response, then there is no bot. In order for the bots to properly respond, they would need access to both the encryption key and the encryption algorithm used. If they just sniff packets, like they do for all other actions in the game, they will just see encrypted data that they won't know what to do with.

It could work...

Well about that packet encryption, when game developers take a step towards anti-cheating.. hackers are usually always a step ahead.
