The Best Internet Browser (FF3 vs Opera9.5)

Post by Draquish »

The old thread...that never ends...the discusion about browsers.

I'll start us off.

Recently I've been using FF and had a blast, I went back to Opera, and all I have to say is that Opera wins this one. AND It also takes less RAM.

FF2
It's all about personal opinion though, opera v FF. When it comes to IE it's all a loss. I like the customization and the simplicity of FF. Plus the spell check aint bad either.
Hope everyone who still uses IE for god knows what reason is at least smart enough to have the security to back it up. You're basically playing russian roulette with your comp.

FF2 FTW :D

IE7's faster at startup cuz it doesn't have to load all the add-ons and stuff at like FF2. I just never got used to IE's tab system.

FF2

I used to use FF3, but I started really missing my extensions. Most of them don't support FF3 yet.

For some reason FF is faster than Opera for me. Opera's bittorrent client is trash, imo (uTorrent FTW). Although I haven't used the latest, so it may have improved.

FF's extensions beat all. I know that other browsers have extensions, but i find that FF has a wider range that makes it easy to find and install what you need.

IE7 isn't so bad, i'm impressed. But the time it takes to load is just too slow for me. FF's initial load time is much faster than IE7. And IE7's tab load times are just freakin atrocious.

So, FF2 is teh win.
