Another scammer reported today @Babel: CrazyDude209 changed price while exchanging
kenshing91 used a global chat 2 warn everybody on the server,

Someone named King_of_Ice on Xian last nite whispered me asking if i'd like to buy a weapon elixir at 175k. i laughed and said "are you serious?" and he was like, "well, how much will you pay for it then?" i told him where to go, and while i can't be certain he would have tried to scam me, i wasn't about to fall for it. just a heads-up.

told me it was four weeks.
he switched it out during trade. and replaced with one day scroll so i wouldn't know.

i'd like to add that Organon tried to impersonate me a while back and get money from the guild and alliances. as my guildmate and alliances know.. i will NEVER ask for money .

Organon accidentally got added to our pt tonite when we weren't paying attention to who we added. i have heard rumors that this is doubleageat...

I willl quickly add that even though the trading of item mall items will now be prohibited, this does not mean the scammers and their intentions are gone. This list is still valid as even though most of the scams will no longer be possible, the scammers will still be running about. The item mall craze was just an easy way for them to do it, now they will have to think of something else.

Keep your eyes open for any new scams that they may come up with and keep us posted

I was actually going to point this out as well. While the new changes makes it harder to scam, Im sure people will still be spaming that they are selling monkeys, potion bags, quivers and what not. This means either:

A) They don't know of the changes
or
B) They are looking for someone gullible enough to give them money w/o the item in trade.

Can we add Danger1992 to the Aege server please? I got scammed earlier (half asleep and selling weapon elixer = bad idea).

At the last second he dropped 240,000 to 24,000 and I didn't notice untill I got back to storage.

I'm new to the game so i hope I'm not making a mistake. But he is trying to pass off normal buyable (500 gold) capes, as special + 33% xp capes for 10K. A scam as far as I can see.

Ign: Hotzu

uses the exchange trick. offers to buy a lvl 24 SOS spear for 3 mil, and then tells me to click confirm then approve. i tell him that i cant click approve unless he clicks confirm first. he says "try" and immediatly changes the gold value to 1 and clicks confirm. I've read from others of this trick so i didnt fall for it. He just ran away after realizing he failed :banghead:

i feel sorry for all the people he might have scammed before. despicable people..

Meh. Lost 200k to hatsil/gever/_______ (need to ask Soldier_Y what his main account is called again) through that exchange trick a la weapon elixir. After I remember what his main account is, it's going to be carnage in west (or I guess East, if that's his style) China =).

I'll go ahead and add in there that there are a couple of people on Xian who try this all the time.. I don't have names because I was half asleep during most of the times, but I never got scammed by them, although it could have happened..

One guy agreed to pay me 25k for an egg during the event.. then once I hit confirm, he changed it to 2500.. I cancelled and he starts telling me to try again, that the lag messed him up. :roll:

Be on the lookout..

Babel Scammers:
FrozenSw0rd is a scammer on babel which tries to change the item you want to buy especially + weapons and sos. if he buys he changes price. usual strategy going to hunter guild in DW and say he lags, going out soon, too many items in inventory. (this one i think belongs in the BleachAnime guild if im not mistaken coz i saw my scammed sos blade with Yachiru(or YachiruSan).

MagikLady(not sure of the right spelling of lady) gets ppl to her stall by saying real cheap sos weapons and changes price and leaves if just 1 person enter.

IHateSro attracts players by saying free weapon elixir coz leaving the game makes a stall and changes the price then the elixir will be gone in half a second coz of too many ppl wanting to get that scammed elixir

Hi there is another scammer in Troy. When we was trading a weapons elixir they quickly tried to change the price. The trade was cancelled and they ran off. lol it's funny watching them run :twisted:

anyway, the scammer's name was BladeLess
