You need some help pal
A full int glaiver doesn't excist. It's either a full strength glaiver or a full int spear.
Full str glaive is more hp, less dmg.
Full int spear is less hp, higher dmg.
Both have ups and downs.
Full int spear lvls twice as fast, tho.
Tell me which one you really want and i'll give you alink to a guide

I got the same dought...
If u use garment its best because u can maximize the int damage, but u get low defense.
If u use armor u get way to much slow.. its not good for a good atack mobility... and I guess that only leaves us with protector. Am I right?
I heard that protector is good for spearman (glavie or spear)...
Can anyone answer?

IMO, Full INT Spear would really suits using Armor because of it's lack of physical defense. If u want to use Protector, sure u can use it so u can have a medium magical defense (higher than armor but lower than garment) and medium physical defense (lower than armor but higher than garment). It's balanced. I would rather go with Armor
But, really, it's your pure preference.

just get garnment, then maybe u will stand a chance against other full ints + garnments look cooler anyways
nice logic there why don`t you just play without any then since it should not matter anyway and playing naked sure looks better then those lollipop outfits.
If you want to pvp as a pure int get armor no matter what build you face you get a bit more chance (talking especially about a job war/doing job) to survive.
the point is always try to work on your weak spots for example due to low hp don`t be afraid to run, int builds are based on speed and to survive you need to be fast and know when to attack and when to run.
as int you already have a lot of mag defence the only thing you need is phy defence.
if you want to pve only you can probably grind all the way to 80 without needing armor you sure wont fight stronger mobs and only will have to attack mobs you can 1shot.
if you want to "tank" phy attacks then go armor.

lol, see my logic is >>>>
if u go armor, u will get ur ass whooped by pure str, and u will get ur ass whooped by pure int
if u go garmet u will get ur ass whooped by pure str, but u will stand a chance against pure int
i think garmet is better

u dont actually have to fight ppl and if u do just use garmet to maximise ur dmg if u got a good crit u should pwn the str pure ur fighting but when u try to lvl wear armor so that u wont have to use tons of HP pots all the time and even if ur dmg isnt maxed out u can still hit high if u get armour that gives u lots of int, on the other hand if u wear protector...itll be probobly faster to kill monsters then armour but still not as good dmg as garment...so just get lots of sets for different uses

Is it me or you are saying that garment increases INT damage? do some armor types really increase/help your dmg?

i agree with this in PvP; u r gonna burn thru hp pots like nuts in PvM, so you gotta have 2 sets, 1 for PvP, 1 set of PvM
i am too cheap to own 2 sets and use protector myself
have you read this, pure int spear IMO doesn't sound like a good idea http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic ... highlight=

It does exist and can exist. Just because its not that famous or no advantage is gained doesnt mean its not possible.
A Pure Str can use a Glavie or Spear as their weapon, its the choice of whoever wants to use it.
Now, say im a pure str spear, the spear has a higher magical attack thus this will cause my imbues to do more dmg however, my crits are not as high in comparison as if I was using a glavie. I've seen a few pures wielding weapons that you dont think they would use.
To me, it seems like it makes sense that a pure int should use a glavie because, if and only if they chose to use melee attacks, because they are lacking the physical attack. It's like, a pure int needs any str bonuses on their armors and weapons and hp bonuses as well because they need it. But thats just me.
The point is, theres no wrong or right builds just as long as you know how to use it or know what you are doing.
Another example would this btw is like hm....... A Pure Int. Many Pure Ints uses Armor as their Armour type. Now, in fantasy world, I think Nukers or Mages typically use lightweight armors so their "energy flow" is flowing godly. But since that doesnt apply in silkroad, not a lot of people use garment but I still think Garment is the armour type that any build should wear since it gives the best bonuses. But then again, people have the choice to which suits them best.
