He pmed me randomly as I was idle deciding who to bump in my guild.
Seemed like a simple conversation, but turned into just another idiot gamer who knows nothing of the world, is white, and is a nerd without skills or a passing grade.
I call this my servers stereotype, but hmm am I bashing you guys too? Why would post this to the SRO community to only be flamed.. curiously interesting problem I set for myself.
No seriously, just thought it was worth a laugh or too to share with you guys.

No. Anyone with half a brain would agree. Native Egyptians are not "black". However, they are not really "white" or any other so-called "race" either. This does not mean that they are not African though. A simple matter of geography forces them into that classification.

I did not mean to get into an argument, He was from my native country and I was curious about him since he spoke to me first.
I do not know him in person neither does he or any of you people. I would have gladly continued the conversation and ended the talk about Egypt as it was getting to an ending point, but he left and I did not bug him further.
It left me with an opinion of him that I felt I would share, as I am sure he had his opinion of me which was not tasteful.
If I just sound stupid, then I will not reply anymore, I am defening myself at the very least, not trying to argue.
I posted this friendly and openly, if he read this he might even laugh at me or the overall situation.

some people just want some chatting from time to time there is no need for you to act like this and especially post about it on a forum, what are you trying to prove with it? i actually respect him for just not going into the discussion and probably just randomly pm someone else for a chat.

LOL, +1 haha. But honestly, I think that guy did chose to chat with the wrong person. I mean WTF? Why is he even asking that guy if he's black just because he's Egyptian. Its like asking an person born in America "Are you white?" Not all people that are born in America are white. I would have said that not all Americans are white but then again, you would contradict me by saying, "all Americans are indeed white, thats why they call black people 'African Americans'"

Well I was trying to see if he was black like me and then we would dwell down the rabbit hole into a conversation of how 2 black egyptians happened to bump into eachother in SRO, but that did not happen.
If I was American and white and asked someone American I could not see if they were white, that makes me an idiot? I was trying to relate to him since I thought he was going to say black, and he said white and that does not matter either, I do not think you understand, I was just making conversation back and he did not agree with it.
I have to say i think you are the bigger idiot in this conversation, sure you have a point but anyone who isn't a complete moron would understand that this person was just trying to have a normal conversation to get to know somebody.
And all he gets is a lecture about how he is wrong about his own culture and race. Give people a break and try to just have a normal conversation for once instead of being so agressive to others around you.
