These moral-decision questions always have a hook.
I'd stick to the 100 or 1,000,000 or whatever $$$ cos i dunno what the baby has got 2 do on a raft.
I know its kinda heartless but like some o you guys pointed out:

If you saw a man beating up his wife, would you Go there and stop him or take 100 000 $ to just walk away and forget it all?

this isn't the same situation @ all
you could get hurt from stopping someone beating his wife,
but not really get hurt from saving the baby, well, you'lll fall down from the fall and you certainly won't die from that

The baby and wife situation are totally different. Instant death or torture. Neither is good but I rather have an instant death. The baby will die, and his life will be sacrificed but if I can use that $1million and help save other lives (people born into poverty) then you can take it from a different view. I'm not saying I'd give away the full $1million away, but I would definitely help others with it.
