Death related question

this question is pretty straight forward...

i am farming in den atm lvl 16 and instead of using return scroll i just let myself get killed... thus saving time from the de leveling process

i have been doin this for a while.. but i was told that their is a small % chance of loosing an item when u die....


is this true or is this person just making up stuff???

yes there is

but I figure it is more common to drop something in your inventory then what you are wearing, atleast from my experience

yes, and as long as u delvl by dying, there will always be a chance to drop something, so does it make a difference if u drop something outside dw or at den? and the chance is very small, i've never seen a dead person drop something yet.

yep the chance is pretty small. From my experience it seems like a 1 in 20 or 1 in 30 chance of it to happening but itll never be the eqipment ur wearing (murderer status is a whole other thing). But ur method is pretty smart because like others said ull eventually have to delvl anyways.

wtf? hes returns to town by suiciding, y would you store items in the storage when you are grinding?

I dropped my hunter suit when i got killed tons of times, at least 10. Then i lost about 5 items from dieing... You can not lose items that you are wearing, only items that are in your inventory and items that are drop able, so you can't lose your gold ticket or quest items.

last time, i've got a lvl 48 spear, just leveled up, too excited to use the new weapon, and go killing mobs wif it, after like 2 kills, a giant, 2 champions get on my back, and i started running, then a few more norms comes too, btw, they are 2 lvl above me, i am was red name (really unfortunate)...... and i surely died, my lvl 48+3 spear dropped on the ground and some dude took it away................. ToT
dammit...

from my experience, that's is really rare tho, but the chance is higher if you are attacking higher mobs than you... (b4 used to get plvl by my friend, died, dropped my back up spear in inventory, lucky he resed me lol)

the chances are of course bigger when ur PK, but yes there are chances that ull drop and item dying...i dropped an SOS shiled for lvl 1

well just a lil story on my behalf here

some guy was afk at the den... and he had a monkey goin to pick up drops... a clever way to make money... anyway he ran out of hp pots * i assume* he died and dropped a lvl 16 sos +3 glaive.... which i picked up lol : D


so im quite happy about that..... but what i dont understand is why he would randomly carry that kind of weapon in his inventory.... considering he was lvl 4x and all......


but i aint complaining : D

and yeah its a shame i have to de level normally... its so boring..... it would save ALOT of time to die every time i go to pot up.... but ehh dam joy max making the dam chance of loosing items
