Yeah there done in photo shop with a technique called brushing. Learned from tutorials on the net.

Depending on the brushes you have you can make some sweet looking stuff. I just dled some new brushes and found some tutorials online and I was set.

They look nice. Unfortunately there seems to be thousands of people who make sigs exactly the same as this, and there's rarely anything that makes them stand out or look different from all the rest. So in other words, they look pretty, but they all look a bit borishly the same.
