the wind problem

anyone know how to fix it thus far without modding the codes in teh sro folder?

before you click on "start", click on "option", then click on the right arrow for "graphic quality" until you get the "not change" option. click "ok" then "start". however, if you make any changes on the settings ingame, the wind effect disappears again.

the only one would be for joymax to get their heads out of their asses. But lately they have been doing better, still they dont take the time to fix the little issues like this one. And where the hell is guild warring its been more than a month now it shouldnt be that hard to fix. :x

There is another method. It requires a HEX Editor program, and change a string of code in the SilkRoadOptions.dat (spelling)...a quick search should come up with steps as i forgot. But it does work, I've had wind effect for quite a while now.

i do this every time i login and yet after a few hours it just goes stiff and its ..... annoying

That I don't know... if only JM didnt leave the last option which is about the wind effect empty.
