the Ultimate Character, the imbalanced game

silkroad is a very imbalanced game...

beta testing...
the ultimate character is Pure STR Ice Blade, they are the Undead, they pwn all!! Int Ice bow are pretty good too... in one word, the heaven of ice
this is pretty reasonable, since ice bladers are hard to train...

ok, now opens 70 cap...
now, it's the world of Pure STR Glaives~

the whole is populated by many glaives huv fire imbue since it's easier to train and almost ties ice blade in pvp, every looks exactly the same from the same lvl

and then... lvl 80 cap
the pure STR Ice Blade becomes rare, so rare that you can hardly find, and the INT ice bows are gone, gone with dat wind... now, it is the time that pure STR rulez~ they can basically ko every one in 1 vs 1 pvp, therez immune to fire, ice, shock, zombie, BUT NOT stun... sadly

ok, here, we are to lvl 90 cap
the trend seems to be balanced Spear to take over... therez 1:2, 1:3 spears popping out from no where. this is even easier to train than the fire glaives... heck, i mean, what's wrong with joxmay?

i questioned many friends...

disagree for one str glavies may have hp and with crits deal good damage but you seriously wont out do a good int hybrid of any wep espesh if you one of the few double weilding wep hybrid they pwn

well it depends iv never been a pvp person until i made this char so to say its my skill is needless as i had no pvp skill before the charecters build is what made it, it has hp and a good mag attack damage so against any opponent is the better build, it then depends on their gears like this game is gear based but put a str glavie or int or blader or bow in the same arena as me all in npc gears i belive the int hybrid would win but then also depends on their skills so for this sake they are all new to pvp but understand the game hybrid would win.

i can argue this for hours and the main reason people stil dont belive it is because people call them selfs hybrids even after 1 level of stat point mistakes at lower levels this been say a pure int near enough and then having the same flaws if there was more pure built hybrids more could see what i keep arguing

^O^, ought to say you are right... if they wears the same cloth, same jewelry, same quality weapon (either NPC, SoS, SoM, SoSun), it is likely that a good hybrid would win.........

thx for your advice... i'm gaining some confidence for my bow now... i've tried all the builds i can imagine, bows are still my favorite, the Strong Bow Vision is the coolest skill, well, in my opinion...... i dun expect to 1v1 wif my bow character anymore tho, but it's fun just to travel around and enjoy the beautiful themes of SRO, 3d rendering rox~~

Stick with bow. I see nothing wrong it. You say bow lvls slow? I kill as fast as a int sword. Anti-devil followed by 1 or 2 arrow combos and I move to the next mob. Joymax will fix the fire shield bug one day. Ice was one of a bow's primary offense and defense. At the moment, its pretty hard to beat a glaiver with fire imbue. Its hard, but not impossible.

I see the opposite on Greece server. Capped pure str bow, pure int spears and int spear hybrids are about the only thing that gets kills in a job war. Bladers only waste pots and glaivers take a long time to kill any other glaiver.

hm.... bows are good in job war/guild war, they go hide somewhere, away from the frontline, and seek for a victim........ shot, crit, target impact! die...... JM fix the fire shield?? this is not a bug, like the glaive's super STUN, bow's hawk...... JM intends to build this game like this.......

ice imbue is still really go to PvE, ^_*

Where you see "imbalance" I see near absolute PvP perfection (excluding the absolute immunities available via fire shield, but thats debatable).

All the classes would shine very brightly in this game if only enough people would bother to make them, for now all the sheeple are so engrossed with being a one man army they have virtually forsaken the weaker support groups.

The fact is, the more the sheeple community rails against people who want to make support classes (as well as experimental builds) and passes them off as useless or stupid have only themselves to blame for the perceived lack of balance.

but now (cap80 the heavy hybrids will, guess same goes for 90)

This is the best build....
1:1 hybrid ice blade using cold imbue, cold waves and the novas. From bicheon the build needs blade force and, of course snake sword dance. It also needs heuksal tree for the wolf bite spear and chain spear nachal... Dual wielding hybrid ice blade... pwns everything.
