Well there really isn't a point to leveling jobs, but it depends on the level of thieves you are killing.

lol,

going from lvl 1 to lvl 2 is pretty easy on all jobs..

Getting to lvl 3 will be the easiest on trader i think. Or you need to have some guildies or union friends who want to help you with hunting or thiefing.
Otherwise it will take a while..

i'm getting about 1% xp from a 1* jan-dw trade on lvl 2 trader (towards 3)
Not sure about the thieves, i think i have to kill 3-4 (around my lvl) to get +1%

Just get your low level friends to do 5 stars *secretly* and kill the thieves... you get good exp that way.

Hunter by far takes the longest to level. Off of NPC thieves your level, you get about 200 hunter points, give or take a few. You need something like 100k points for lvl1, so its not that quick. You need even more for level 2. I killed a wanted when i was a level 2 hunter and got 1%

Hunter definatly takes the longest :x.

Lv 2 to 3 for Hunter is 1,665,985exp, it takes forever and there isn't really any point other just having it.

there's shortcuts to lvling watever, but it defeats the point of doing ur job

& there is really no point in going beyond lvl 2

the only ppl i've seen reach lvl 5 are hunters/traders who probably trade bots or has a lot of pcs set up, & just need 2 or so guy, 1 to be high lvl hunter escort, & 1 to lead the afk caravan back in forth, then again i guess it's also easy to be lvl 5 thief too, if u have a lot of gold to burn and a nice trader friend to just drop u loot, but again, there's no point lvling jobs

He wants to level his hunter, not his trader.
