I know this has been a topic before, but never led anywhere, watcha guys think about creating a SRF Ventrilo to go to when ur bored n just chillax^^,

yes and thousands of people on SRF dont post, they wouldnt get involved in a vent, and besides, you could make multiple vents.

My old clan had a 220 slot server

I have a private 20 slot... but i dont know what the max size is.

lets just start with 20 or something then..if its full all the time we'll just get a larger one, anythign is good^^ I wouldnt mind have silkroadforums.net as one of the ips in my vent list :wink:

I'm intersted, but there should be some demands though. Like english speaking, +there should be some privileges for Elite/Veteran/whatever members

The only priviledge you can give on Ventrilo is Administrative Access. I'd only give it to the well-trusted Mods/Admins on the forums if I was to buy this server, and this doesnt include ALL mods.

well, I was more refering to access to the server, and to certain rooms.

whoever uses the forum is welcome ofc, as long as they dont violate any rules, depending on who makes or buys it he decides rules, i'd make rooms like random nonsense, silkroad diskussion etc like the forum boards^^

Man, sfc was so good, can any of the mods tell me why they removed it, was awsome for passing time on maint and would be while I was at college to, lol.

SRF outgrew the chat module. it got choked and died every few minutes because of the number of users in it and on the board at once. unless we can find a way to make it run smoothly, it'll likely stay down.
