what the heck is a vent server? everyone's been talking about how their guild has a vent server. what is it?

vent = ventrilo

a program where people can connect to a server and talk. basically, voice conference with multiple people. players use this in normal chat, or in guild events like trade run/hunting/thieving and guild wars, because it's important to coordinate the players. typing is too slow for this.
