Blocking Ratio Increase on Blade
On my old blade i had a blocking ratio 60 on it, my new blade has blocking ratio 18. I cannot remember which stone i need to make 9tablet to acquire) to increase that attribute, does anyone here know?

nice one, ty! i shall be looking for that later, hee hee gives me a great excuse not to have to go out and grind ^^
but....i do need to keep my healthy lead on the GP donate going!
one more thing, as the block 18 exisits am im right in thinkin the stones will only increase it if not fail and not affect the current block 18? also attack rating and durabilty have been pumped on the blade already, im looking to add more str to the current attribute. i have a bunch of steady and strikes tabs to add to it, but is there anything else worth adding to the blade?

You can add the following to it:
- Steady (prevents durability loss)
- Astral (only if you want to get it higher then +4 ofc)
- Immortal (needed if you want to add Astral)
- Lucky (nice if you want to do a lot of alchemy)
- Attack Rating (Strikes)
- Block Ratio (Discipline)
- Int
- Str
- Durability (Masters)
Thats the maximum of blues you can have on a weapon.
Dont forget to look at the white stats too. At higher lvls a good % magic and physical dmg and reinforce can mean a big difference.
Also the 'white' attack rating should have a nice %.
There is only 1 thing that you can NOT change on an item and that is the 'white' durability %, only the added one is changeable.

you are a star, ty very much. i'll add some discipline to it then and get that block ratio up. everything else in the blade is pretty respectable, i want to +4 it but i dont see it worth the risk as im lvl 39 and lvl quite quickly. The only thing i mite try and adjust is the reinforce values.

i have one more question that needs answering; the blade has 20% durabilty increase and 20% attack rating increase. If i keep adding steady and master to this blade will it affect the current values on those attributes if they fail? but if successful will they continue to improve them? Also is this the same for all Jade tablets? This will be my last 5th deg weapon so im happy to throw my steady and masters tabs at it.

Master increases durability and Strikes increases Attack Rating. WHENEVER you use a tablet, if it succeds it has a probability of assimilation (told by the stone when you create it, either 10%, 20%, or 30% chance that something will get assimilated.) You can also get odd % stones from breaking down equipment (5% and 35% stones). This is what makes alchemy such a risk and an addicting feature in the game. You always want to go for more unless the stat is maxed but you might decrease/increase another stat along the way that you didnt want to touch.

thankyou for all your help people!
i managed to get blocking ratio 60 (+100%) on the blade (one stone!!) then only Int +1 (3 stones), 60% durabilty increase on my sheild (one stone), Int 4 (+100%) on my SOS chest armour too (3 stones). Im now looking around at what i have to play with now, i might add strikes and master to the blade to increase the 20% attack rating and durabilty increases on it.
is it true that the 20% stones are the better ones to use?
