I think str is a must have in trading because of hp so pure str glavie for trader. Hunting im not sure but id say having kd and stab is a useful way to stop and ko thieves so id say s/s pure str for hunter. Thieving id say has to be hybrid or pure int/spear with nukes to ko thieves. I am quite new so i might be wrong. hope it helps :)

IMO its not wise to plan a build on what job you choose because its almost inevitable with our current job system that you will be changing jobs, alot.

imo, for Hunters I recommend pure STR cold or fire blader, for thieves, hybrid s/s or spear int, for traders, i think pure int is good because if a guy is trying to 1* pop you (if he is only 2-4 lvls higher) you can easily kill his thieves.

I personally think archers are good for being hunters, because thieves will have a hard time running away from you since you have a lot of range. For thieves, range is not as important since horses and camels move so slowly, so a build that deals a lot of damage to bring down a horse/camel quickly is good. For traders, the build matters less, but I suppose something with AoE or shield will be good against dealing with multiple thieves.

Thieves, hunters and sometimes traders run in groups alot so the build depends on you imo. ;)

Doesn' t matter. You should always bring someone as back up. A nuker and a str work well together. I normally go with a str bow an str glavie, im a nuker.

Or run solo doesnt matter.

Archers work very well for hunters, and nukers can also become good thiefs (a nuker can take out a camel in a few moves). Thiefing with an archer can also be fun: i was on the prowl for hunters in the Yeoha Forest, saw a hunter of my level, zerked and out of the blue came my strongbow with a crit.... :D . As said, bows are good for every job, due to their range. Imo a traders build does not matter.

ups, thats wrong..
Everybody says that pure str bladers are good to be hunters, i cant agree with that.
Firs, because they dont have nukes and kill so fast=cant kill nps thieves so fast and so many at the same time.
Only thing i see is that they can tank 2 player thieves on him..
But id say that either a pure str glavier or hybrid int with s/s would be good.
For thieves pure ints or str glaviers should be gd
Traders, id say bladers, because they can tank^^

bows for theives are great, more if you are in a party witha friend with a glave or another bow, because you can do this:

find a trader with a hunter with glave, spear, sword or blade. attack the hunter with your bow, while your friend hides beside something, the hunter will run to you, and you have a hard fight there, with 2 options:

if he runs to attack you, tell you friend to help you, so you wouldnt die
OR
tell your firend to go to attack the merchant inmediatly, while you give him time fighting with the hunter.

if he DOESNT run to you, and he just keep walking like an idiot, combo him, and use your best skills to kill him, but dont call you friend till he isnt close to the merchant or till he dies. If you kill him, thiss should be easier than trying to eat a candy... just attack the merchant with your firend, you kill him, you repart the goods, and trade sucesful... anyways it is good to do this 2 times, so each of you have a good amount of mercancies

if you are hunter, choose blade, bow or glave, what you prefer... glave attack simultaneouly 2 thieves or more, bow can hardly hurt thieves before they hurt you, and blade ( for me the best ) can sun your enemies and makes the things easier

if you are merchant, you shouldnt need a weapon, you should need hunters =D, but anyways, a glave or blade is better, cause your priority is to defent your transport and youself, not to kill the thief

hope this helps

Any build can act any job. It really dosnt matter.
