Question to the mods about KSSN

Post by maverick2104 »

KSSN = korean social security number
First of all I have a lot of peolpe who keep asking me if the KSSN are illegal to use if u r not korean, the answer is NO, ´cause u r not using it to charge an amount of real money or to buy something its just to access a game. And the Korean authorities are not gonna spend money and time coming for u just ´cause u r using a kssn to play FREE game.
If u ask me if its correct to use it, then the answer is NO. Because maybe an owner of that kssn, just maybe, wants to play kSRO and he will not be able to do it since u already toke his KSSN.

So, here´s my question to the mods, can i post a list of available KSSN?

I just hope one day the FBI shows up at everyone who uses KSRO's house, and arrests them for idenity theft and treason, then they are shipped to korea and they get dealt with there.

I'm pretty sure it IS illegal, as to whether or not they will try to pursue you if they found out for using it on a game which is free I dunno, but cmon, thats using someones personal information, thats defiantly not legal >.>.

First of all thank you for asking, and the answer unfortunatly is no. You cannot post up KSSN. The reason for this is that these KSSN may have been obtained in an illegal way, and using a KSSN is a crime, "Identity Theft". Thus we can't allow for the KSSN to be posted on the forums.

However, if there are those of you who are desperate to play, and need a KSSN. I guess it would be alright for him to PM you one.

Thanx for your Understanding.

WRRRRONG.

You can steal a KSSN as a long as your not a kroean citizen. If you do buy something, then it is fraud, but as long as you dont, they cant do anything.

Im almost sure it's illigal but what are we doing with the SSN? Not really much, just using them to play a game.

Well most of us are..

As far as them coming to my house and taking me into custody? I'm not worried.

Stealing somebody's "identity" is always illegal, isn't it ... it is even worse than stealing credit card info ... I mean ... is it legal as long as you don't purchase things with it or what (the CC I mean)? C'mon...

the moment you use someone else identity even its free. eg in game access. without the consent of the owner. its still considered illegal.

I wonder what would happen if I sent an e-mail to the FBI about this and gave em the usernames of the people who used the numbers

Yes. The FBI will spend loads of money to investage this. And with our usernames they will catch us?

They can find your IP address through this forum.
They then call up your isp , and ask them who you are.
Fox Mulder shows up at your house.

I don't see how that's spending loads of money.
