New Computer Game Freezes

My old computer it ran fine with XP, i just bought a new computer today and i've been trying to play but it's got Vista on it, i can run the game but when i click the screen to login the screen goes black, and my monitor shows Analog for a moment then it'll go back to the login, i type in my username and pass and verify the code, then it goes to the bridge and shows my character, i click the character and the game freezes completely. If i try to close the game it'll lock my computer up, anyone have an idea? thanks.

Firewall? maybe. Dang u got Windows vista lol?...

Yeah it came with the computer, i tried turning off the firewall and it still done it. I dunno.
