Server under inspection or updates?????

Post by dlvsm »

I have the latest version of sro 1.065 and everytime I try to log on it just tells me the server is undergoing inspections and updates. I saw the other post's about this issue from a month ago and for kicks I tried every patch I can find and have uninstalled and re-installed a couple times. I even re-downloaded the program from a different site and installed it. :banghead:

I saw a post from a month aga also that said every monday night it is like this and today is monday but I loged on to my computer at home from work and was able to log on there so wtf? Somebody please give me some advice. Thanks in advance!

I also posted this on another thread so if you have answered this already sorry
I am just trying to be difficult and get as many ideas as possible!
Help me waste some time at work!!!

ok, Here is what it looks like now,

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

If you could show me what it is supposed to look like I can cut and past it right? I am leary of changing this because again this is a work computer and I do not want to screw it up and get into trouble. Thank you again for the help.

Ok,
I uninstalled sro, re-installed and then ran the manual patch. Still no luck :banghead: Any other ideas or advise about the driver file?
