xuchu, how old are you? If you're around my age, you might know about the USA Cadet Team. I've been playing professionally for 5 years, and I made the team in 2003.

And you play with professional equiptment too lol. interesting

I play with the Joola Rosskopf Force blade and both sides of Joola Air. I am currently sponsored by Joola.

it'd be nice to get to know u more xP

ah im not in USA im in New Zealand so guess theres not much chance me playing you lol

Do you watch table tennis tournaments (international)

haha i found ur rubber but not ur blade i only found rosskopf exact and rossi force.I like your rubber 10% lighter than normal rubber.I guess your a close table person?

I'm getting new equipment in April what ya think i should get?

DHS hurricane king blade (shake hand)
DHS hurricane rubber (inverted)

or

Butterfly Kong Linghui special shake hand arlyate carbon blade
Butterfly SRIVER rubber (inverted) on both sides.

so far im leaning towards the DHS set since Wang LiQinImage uses that and my playing style is alot like his.

lol i'm not really close to the table. I step away sometimes and go full out forehand.

For your next blade and rubber, i highly suggest Butterfly over DHS. Sriver is very well known and popular. Although i've seen the Kong Linghui before, not many people use it.

btw. Ever since I saw your avatar, i've been debating whether or not to ask you if you were a fan of ping pong lol

I know butterfly is really popular, but most the time i preferr DHS over butterfly cuz DHS is Chinese made and all the Chinese players apart from Zhang YiNing uses it now, i think she changed to DHS also.

hehe Ma Lin is diffently one my favourites and he is my favourite pen grip players with his reverse back hand. currently he's ranked world #1 if i remember correctly.I also like alot of the other players (in no specific order)Wang LiQin, Wang Hao, Kong Linghui, Timo Boll , Werner Schlager , Wang Nan , Zhang Yi Ning , ..... Ai (Ai-chan).

no not yet.
<-- newbie, been training professionally for like 3weeks but my coach says i learn rly fast, cuz he say he hasnt taught anyone that can loop forehand&backhand properly with high accuracy in 3weeks.
I'm doing all the training that he does with his 6-8month people.

My coach = former 8'1 Chinese team head coach he taught ppl like Liu GuoLiang etc he taught Liu GuoLiang from since Liu guo like was like small as kid.

My friends and I play extreme table tennis. Extreme being there are no rules other than you have to hit the ball as hard as possible at the other player. Winner is the one who doesn't run away like a puss. Sometimes we play regular table tennis though.

Table Tennis is ok:
I was in a team but i stopped a while ago.
I play it from time 2 time now, just for fun.
But playing it at school for marks?????
Thats farfetched
But I'm reckless when it comes to chopping the ball

I remember when my brother used to play it all the time years ago.
He would be in the basement playing against my dad or mom and all you would hear was the ball bouncing back and forth, and then someone shout a swear word as you hear the ball quickly bouncing away to the otehr side of the room

I can't believe you guys actually got me interested in playing again. I'm already contemplating buying a new bat and rubbers, especially since I just found out that the local table tennis school has moved to a hall just around the corner from my house...

I used to be okay at ping pong just for playing around with friends, back when I went to camp where we had a table, and was in school where there was a table. Now I just play once in a while at my friend's house and I am no good. Sometimes when I'm feeling lazy I like to play gripping the paddle upside down between my middle and ring fingers. It's similar to a pen-holder grip but gives me a tremendous amount of backhand control. The downside is it's almost impossible to use forehand, and I can't return anything hit off the table to the right. Also it makes my hand hurt. So yeah... when I'm lazy. Which is a lot of the time nowadays since I hardly ever play.

it's actually pretty surprising how many people play ping pong for fun. At least half my friend have a ping pong table somewhere in their house. 90% of them have played before.

I just got invited to a Oceania Tournament should I go?
I've been playing quite well lately but I'm still relatively new to professional play but then again its in July thats months away.
You guys reckon I should go? I definitely won't get gold or silver since there are so many people in Australia and two people I know that can seriously own me.

But should I go anyways just to play?

hahaha.... Sure for beginners you don't run at all, you should check out some of the videos on youtube like proper pro tournaments.
Although still not as much running, but dude you run quite a bit for the speed the ball is coming
