im makin new char nuker,i wonder is better to use spear or sword

Their are multiple threads about it already. But it is all about preferences. What do YOU like? More dmg, but with the risk of being killed faster due to lower defence? Or little bit less damage have more defence and chance to block? At higher lvls the block is very handy and it can/will give you more survivablility, but killing faster = more xp/sp = also lots of fun.

or you can try using spear for grinding and sword+shield for jobs/war/pvp where defence makes big difference

yea, for when grinding, since u will not be using any skills just nukes, u can use a spear for killing mobs, and have a nice s/s for pvp.
