i got to lvl 21 i am teh suck at this game i quit

I never get the boss at 33 he always survives with like 10% of his hp left>.< so I always fail at lvl 34

These days I can get him killed before I even lose 1 life.

I mean that I dont get the gold I needed to build something to the next lvl, and when that lvl comes I usually let 10+ get through:/

1) DON'T BUILD IF YOU DON'T NEED IT.
Saving gold is important for survival in the later levels.
Spend your wood into elemental towers.
Fire => water => Earth.
If you played smart with your gold, you can place a combo at lvl 21 which will make the next levels much easier.

Continue the game without spending money if you can survive with your towers. don't build if you don't need to.

At higher level you should sell canons, arrow towers and fire towers because their damage doesn't really help much at higher levels.
Spam water towers (upgrades only increases splash range, but no damage, keeping them at lvl 1 is good enough if you spam them). Place the all around, the slowing effect saves your life while upgraded combo towers sends volleys of high damage bolts. Slowing them will take them longer to the end thus they'll be killed further away from the end.
the effect wears down thus placing the towers all around is needed.

The other key to victory are upgrade combo towers.
A huge range + great damage combined with resonable fire rate when upgraded makes them your number 1 choice to kill high level creeps.

If you played smart with your gold you can spam them without losing to much gold. because they pay theirselves. But as stated before, don't place them if not needed. You'll want the extra gold.

At level 39 it might be advisable to buy a few extra lives, but more fire power is an other option.

I've finally beaten it!!! lvl 39 with 8 lives left w00t!

At first I got to 36 .. ugh.

Then after actually reading what certain types did to the monsters I made rank 505 on the list 'Plus44' hehe.

Ender with like 32k points. Could have ended with more but didn't sell all my fire towers when the last wave died.

Quick tip.

Buy intrest, use your first wood for a fire tower then use the rest of your wood for intrest. Oh and don't build those lame ass cannons, the suck lol. You also need not buy air towers as fire towers and arrow towers do the same job thus saving money.

There are different ways to play, with no particular "right way", but the way to maximize profit (at least for how the game is set up now) is to NOT purchase elements and instead spend all your wood on interest, and placing a shit load of cannons all over the map.

i got to lvl 39 with this ->

first a cannon, (upgraded~>2)
then got a total of 3 cannons (upgraded~>full)
then upgraded water element + got 2 airtowers (upgraded~>2):

^ btw they should be just a little further down

sold airtowers + bought element water, stuck them infront of the cannons to slow the enemys while they get killed by the cannons:


then fire (upgraded~>2):


then another water :

+ another fire tower (upgraded~>2)
then just kept it like that saving money up to lvl 21

bought earth (although never built any) + sold the cannons and used all money for missles in the middle of the whole game with water towers around slowing everything down...

And the end it ended up kinda like this (all towers upgraded) (died at 39) :


btw on lvl 38 i spent all money on more lives

Although this probably isnt close to the best way, i hope it helped (and post if it did!)

@Luoma: you should sell the air towers after the last air waves.

BTW I play to survive, and thus I ended at place 2xxx xD.
I'll try the no element strategy//only 1 element strategy
