Waaat????? Half the price? Where did you get it at? or did you buy the parts urself? I went to TigerDirect.com and ordered the parts by adding to the cart so I can estimate, and it 200 more if I make the configuration exactly like that computer i just showed.

Where did u get ur pc?

He meant the parts by itself because you won't be able to find a computer with a 8800 gforce for less than 950$

You can save a whole lot of money, buy the individual parts off of newegg.com and build it yourself, not hard.

Building a pc is easy as hell, finding the parts that are right for you, and making sure they will work together is the hard part.
Assembling it is just like making legos or a jigsaw puzzle.
Even someone with no experience in computers could probably build one, provided they had all the parts.

I'd probably kill mine if I tried to make it.

Anyone wants to give me cash for a new computer?

I'll give you e-cookies in return.

I'd say that's a pretty damn good deal for a premade. Processor prices are a pain in the ass, and the 8800 is a hell of a good card. Plus the obviously expensive case (useless) and all of those high frequencies

I'd put that on par with building your own, since you don't have to deal with tons of problems (multiple shipments, fitment, parts, etc. etc.)

schway, man.

Aren't DX10 graphic cards supposed to come out? Wont those cards make something like 8800 obsolete...

The 8800 support/ will support directx10, the only problem with those are they melting since they get so hot so if you or someone else is going to buy one get a good cooling system and if you have the $ get a pro liquid cooling system

Yeah, my comp was around $600 by buying the parts for a bargain. AMD x2 processor, 1.5gig of ram, Radeon x1300, all this other junk idk at the moment... and I have that exact case, except its black. I don't know why people like to buy an entire pre-built system, making your own is a whollllle lot cheaper.

Fyi, go to newegg, buy the parts and build it, its not that hard if you know basic troubleshooting. Found it fun. I built my first one at age 12 so yeah
