pay for SRO...

Post by heroo »

hye guys,

since i hate bots i made a plan that maybe can get us rid of all those g*ys. It's not a plan actually, but more a preposal. I thought if everyone that plays SRO needs to pay for it, wont that lead to the quitting of bots, since they dont really care about the actuall game, but only for the lvling ?

The amount that everyone needs to pay isnt that much, was thinking at $5 a month , i think that will also fix the server traffic problems.

I'd like to hear ur opinion :), and remember that IT'S JUST A PREPOSAL

I'm against that. A majority of players either don't have paypal/credit card or whatever or are not allowed to pay for a game.

Im not giving away my money for just a game and things that doesnt exist in reality instead i rather donate to the africans and you igotmydad'smoneytospend people can stfu and think about the poor.

but to show a little appreciation to the company, just say gratz for their hardwork.

I  joymax ~but need to improve management. :)

im sure you never bought a game in your life since all your money is being donated.
not to mention you should give your comp to them as well since your not greedy.

paying for a game is also paying for other peoples salary which they use to pay for there needs. its not like they dont need money, its there job having the game running.

and if ppl like the service or game they will pay, same goes for other things

it's a nice idea, but wont get rid of them.

monthly fee for game + monthly bot fee = less then 50% of total for sold character on ebay.

but if you were in charge and was going to go ahead with this plan I'd say try, as long as you pay my monthly fee

If the P2P server was up to par with kSRO, I would join in a heartbeat. (I might even pay extra to get my character transfered, yeah, I'm that lazy xD)

I took a long break. 4 months of jSRO, 2 months of no SRO.

I level up slow because either..

A) I decide to have fun instead of grinding
B) I am SP Farming
C) I keep on getting killed

Silk Road as p2p? I think most people would switch to a better mmorpg that is free like 2moons ,Vanguard, or SoF. Silk road is already lacking in the f2p department let alone p2p. with p2p games like WoW and phantasy star universe why would u pay for SRO

your kinda wrong, if that was tru sro wouldnt be running.
thousands of players buy silk every month, i know ppl who waste more than 15-20 usd a month. (my limit is 20 if not i change games)
and for those who actually buy silk are letting some players be on a free server

im againts to make it for all servers but i would make one or two with the time in that i would put full service mo silk every thing can be bought at shops ( thats becouse youre allready paying ) and no lag watched global chat and exp events so the exp is double or triple but for updates i think they should be for all at same

I would pay for a private server at $5.00 per month and it includes a monkey so everyone in the server will have a monkey, squirrel or bunny.

if botters can afford a GT and a bot card, they can afford 5$ more a month to play sro. This wouldnt lead to the removal of bots, it would lead to the quitting of many legit players who dont think that at this stage in the game it is worth paying for. iSRO as it stands is an incomplete game, joymax would have no justification in charging monthly fees for it now, and hopefully they never will.

A SEPERATE p2p server would be nice. Less lag, and easier to get into. (MUST have character transfer for moving from f2p server to p2p server though)
