SoS questions

Ok, I am not exactly new to this game, but I do not fully understand SoS/SoM/SoSun weapons, other then the fact that they cost a bazillion gold. So, I was wondering how to obtain these weapons, other then finding them, and how they improve upon a regular weapon with the SoS/SoM/SoSun status on them.

sostar = +5
somoon = +10
sosun = +15

then you can + them, thats why they are so expensive

Thanks, that seems to make sense why the cost so da*n much

But, I was wondering how you could also get these items, without finding them or buying them. Since I heard of some sort of tablet that would work the same way as all the other tablets, but it adds SoS properties to items when you make em, or is that just a myth.

Hello,

SoS items are drops from monsters. It's really² rare though. Those tablets just add blues and changes some stats. And actually, it can't be compared to SoS. Unless, the weapons are +5 or whatever then it's better than SoS, IMO. Just like Luoma posted, a weapon with +5 is simillar to Seal Of Sun .. Other's i don't really sure though. But yeah, rather than getting those SoS, why not trying to find something +5 or higher? But they cost expensive though :cry:

Ya sounds good, I have like 3 storage pages of elixirs and can probably do some good with those. But my squirrel did run off for like a half an hour one time and came back with a +5 shield lv 42 and now im saving that til i get there. I was happy about that.

+5 is = to sos (star not sun). As far as i know/have heard a + weapon can never really be compared to an sos, since an sos weapon has inherent stat bonuses. Meaning that all the stats of an sos weapon are going to be higher.

Higher defaults, yeah.

But a 38+3 weapon can be stronger than a SOS 32+3 weapon, because those defaults are only relatively high for that level (and not degree, necessarily).

sorta, but they still have higher base stats which makes them even better
