Pure Str Blader

Yeah, yeah I'm building a blader...

But anywayz... i was thinking of using just fire and lighting(grasswalk of course...) and instead of cold get heuskarl(sp?) for the hp bonus and maybe use it as well to piggy back my blader build to a higher lvl if it gets too slow/boring. what do you guys think, is it worth it to sacrifice the extra defense that cold gives for the hp? oh and cold is only physical defense though right? thats one of the reasons i was thinking of doing this...

ur a blader and ur going to use heuskal??! well, i mean it could work, but i think it would be kinda painful and u need lots lots lots of sp, which i doubt u could get very quickly

well, I've grinded 150k sp already and plan to get the rest as i lvl up, so sp not that much of a problem. However do you guys think it would work? or should i get cold instead...

its a matter of preference really. as pure str blader you want a great offense which fire gives you, and you want a solid defense. Personally ice isn't that important lots of those skills are not useful(besides the passive defense). I would stick with fire, lightning, and blade. The only reason you should put points in heuksal is if you plan on deleveling blade (b/c you think you will get tired of it). If not then put the rest in ice...get that defense boost.

no cold!! cold is terrible for a str blader!! go fire, and some lightning for running. sorry, but everyone is like immune to cold at high lvls

oh and @ Cyndaine, yeah i'm not going to use cold as imbue, i'll stick with fire, cold would make grinding even more painful

get 30 or 40 heuksal masteries and get the passives...

you can still have cold buffs... but dont get force..

I do believe he meant the defence bonus, as he said he's going to be using FIRE,

But what it comes down to, do you want an extra 97 phys def or 1k hp? personally id go for the def

*uses book 3 shield skill* +650 defence for 15 seconds

theres about 30 sec cooldown time after, if the other pure str cant kill you, then jst recast.

heuk > cold

mag defence increase >> cold buff

if u get cold maxed and shield ur defense is probly high enough u wont need heuskal passive. too much sp.
