I should make my own MMO. I could win if it is this easy :D! I mean what are the qualifications, being able to speak english, knowing a scripting, object, and high level based language. Easy enough eh?

Storyline?

On the first day of all beginnings, I talked to this guy in Jangan and he told me to go kill tigers.

You have it all backwards.

Joymax didn't pay MMO site.

MMO site paid Joymax for the promotion / recognition.

Cmon now. Its not pc gamers magazine.

With so many 'well deserved' nominations, it makes you wonder where the nomination for 'best security' is at.

How could you agree with best graphics?

When I run SRO, there is a 50/50 chance that everything will be slightly blurred, particularly noticeable in chat and text.

When I log in to Hotan, all I see is a mass of mess, with a billion stall names all over my screen, I can't even SEE hotan.

The hottest action spots in the game are in Donwang, a desert. A desert thats all one color, with the same repeated decorations, and a whole hell of a lot of sand.

Sand, desert, dead turtle. Sand, desert, dead turtle.

The shadows on the ground are a mere 'dot' unless I wanna lag my comp down. Or not be able to leave hotan.

Not to be the WoW humper, but each per say 'degree' theres like 10 styles of 4 kinds of armor each, both for adapt to male / female. Some look cooler or nicer than others, but still.

SRO has 3 things you can wear -.- and choosing what style by looks seriously hurts your character. Oh how I would have loved to wear armor. -.-

Compared to other free MMORPGs, I don't have any complains about the graphics. Okay, it's not as good as Guild Wars or any games related to that, but it looks neat enough.
Water's moving, when it rains you see it on the water service, chickens near the herbalist in Jangan. :D

I don't know which other games are nominated, but if it's for free MMORPGs, they could pretty much deserve it.
If they're competing with WoW, Guild Wars and anything related to that, they have an eeny meeny tiny little chance to get the prize.

I'm replacing my video card soon due to malfunction.

We'll see if the desert becomes a luscious scene that competes with Aastranar, or the mangle of stalls and billions of text allover hotan disappears. Maybe it will add new outfit styles.

Actually though, it beats getting blinded by the pure white scenery in west Hotan. I had to turn down brightness on my game because it was killing my eyes.

thats why u should plan these things in advance :D . If you make a fem char, make sure NOT to be one that should wear garms for overall best performance. lol Ryoko I totally agree with you. My friend wore protector, and his 7th degree protector headgear made him look like he had a canary on his head for a month, but he always wore it cuz it had 5 int. :( I think my fashion sense has gone down tremendously since then....

a. I don't spend more time runnign any program other then pr0n or music.

b. it's truely appeasing, unique, realistic and the clothing are indeed variable in styles, lovely.

c. not even good ol' CS gets my heart pumping more then taking out a few people

d. given the progression, decrease in lag, increase in stability and smoothness, it runs like a well oiled machine compared to what it once was.

e. I wouldn't say theres a major storyline, that would inevitably have the game 'end' sometime, but the entire progression is strung together through questing, jobbing and having fun with friends, which is better.

f. I'm presuming the european addition to SRO 'FoS' wasn't it? well, you all certainly raved about it, all want it and all wanna play as a european character, can't deny this.

g. despite their downfalls, mistakes, and really bad english, they try, and eventually get somewhere. if WoW had the limited resources and manpower that joymax does, they would have curled up in a ball and cried for mommy.

I've had my ups and downs with sro, i've quit, and come runnign back like a crack starved hobo. I'm not afraid to admit that, it seems most of you are, sure, 'take a break' but you still can't help but look into things and comment, even if it is negative attention, it is attention.
