We have a lot of open space right now, and we are recruiting! If you join, it is always nice to have a person who is at least moderately high lvl, but the real requirements are maturity, friendliness, and loyalty.
Another absolute requirement is being totally legit. If you bot or ccf, kiss your chances of joining AoW goodbye.
Let me give you a little background on why this is:
A little while ago, Xone (the person who created the guild) went on vacation and trusted our vice, shekhinah, with the guild. The day Xone came back (incidentally, the day of the cap raise) he expected shekhinah to give the guild leadership over. shekhinah, however, was supposedly "afk" and couldn't transfer the leadership, though we saw him logging in and out and he admits he was talking to another guildie.
Not once did shekhinah offer to give Xone back the title of guild leader, or just give it back the moment he realized Xone was back (he did realize this) although that was the agreement. It would've taken like 5 seconds, seriously. Anyway, after Lord Yarkan was killed, about ~9 - 10 hours after the server had reopened, Xone left the guild, mad at shekhinah that he hadnt given back the title yet, and disappointed that he had trusted shekhinah with the leadership of his precious _Art_of_War_. A few days later, in response to this, shekhinah and about 12 other guild members, among them some of our highest levels, left the guild to go to the new guild they had been preparing for a while, "Eternity".

I think everyone in Tibet, and even iSRO as a whole, should learn a valuable lesson from this: high levels do not mean everything in a guild. What really matters in this game, and in our guild, are friendship and trust. We were one of the most powerful guilds in the server, but because of some BS it seems like we have crumbled. However, that is not so, because we really mainly want to have a good time and make some friends, and we are ready to rebuild the guild. That being said, if you think you are willing to be a good, trustworthy friend to everyone in the guild and are prepared to be an active member in the guild community, please feel free to leave a post here or to message me in game. shekhinah (69 bow), Brutality (72 glaive), xMagiCx (67 blade), Snowblower (60 blade), Scuzzlebutt (55 nuker), Mirandriel (70 glaive--has killed Lord Yarkan), __LETHAL__ (~55 nuker), YaoDongSaeng (46 blade), and HolyShit (68 nuker) have all left. _Medea_ (72 spear) has also left to try out being guildless for a while. I, for one have stayed, along with the majority of the 4x and about half the 5x. Xone is coming back soon, however, and we're still ready to have a good time. Until he does, I will be the main judge of whether you are worthy to come into the guild, and I will handle most recruitions and kicks if you are recruited but dont turn out to be the ideal member we expected etc.etc.

I personally think the guild is not gonna be the same without him. If hes back thats cool. As for the others leaving...was it because Xone wasnt there? best of luck to u guys!!

Xone just came back today. The others who were leaving followed shekhinah. Seems they had been planning this for a little while.

Good news: _Medea_ just came back too. Our current GM is StreetWalker, because he is incredibly active (well at least he has been for a while now). You can pm _Medea_, Xone, or I (TheXone) and mention this SRF thread if you want to join, but I dont think StreetWalker knows about this thread

. Once again, maturity and legitness are the ideal qualities, but we would probably also want someone who is at least above lvl 36 or so, so that they are not looked down upon my other guild members and can hold their own in some battles. :wink:

We joined Mercenaries union.
BTW if u meet all the qualities above (maturity, legitness, etc.etc.) 30+ can actually join. We want to have some fun in AoW and it's nice to have a fuller guild. Consider it a late New Years present.

Yeah just PM me or send a note to TheXone its all good. What Im interested in when recruiting are:
a) How active are you? If you're not online much, you don't gain any lvls and we don't get to socialize with you, so what's the point?
b) How mature are you? We want people who will be kind and respectful to others, and also see things through the eyes of other guildies....... and we don't want beggars etc.

These are general instructions / recommendations for people who want to join, so you are not kicked later and you have a great time in AoW!

well he asked the leader alrdy, so i guess he was going to, also i'm online o fridays and saturdays, but like lvl once a week most of the time, and also i like being social, that's why i want to get in a guild, and dun worry i won't beg. but i have the occansinal OMG can i see dat? But iwon't annoy u guys, and sometimes if i get sumthing i dun need but one of my guildmates need, i give to them or sell for like 10k over wht i sell to npc. Also do u do trade runs/ms/ other guild events a lot? Cause i love doing that with friends and also fight and ply silkroad with others! That's what is silkroad is to me!

Meh, right now we are on the enemy list of many guilds since we were always so strong, but many of those guilds can beat us now....

Not many huge guild 5 stars, but once our union m8s hit 80 I'm sure we'll have a lot more of that. Whenever we get a lot of scrolls, we do summon. We used to be some of the biggest summoners on Tibet, summoning... I think 50-70 scrolls on the first day of the event. We like doing that

hey i got a good idea, how bout as a guild event we have 8+ online members and go to a massive trade run from dw-jangan.
About 4 traders and 4 hunters, each hunter to a trader.
lvl30-42 3-5 star
43-60 2-3 star
60-80 1-2 star
It would be really fun, avoiding theives, fighting them and also having a hell of a good time

whdya think?

this is what we can do, and are starting to do. As a guild alone, we would get owned by ThE_EnD. Somehow as a union we actually managed to beat them.

_Ghost_ usually calls the runs, along with _MM_ (spelling?) I guess. They are both 80 or close, so when they are both available we are able to beat ThE_EnD union. (haha backo)

..Yeah _Ghost_ is union leader...
