so i summon my wolf as detour. Since you can select bandits from far away and bandits is quite a chaser, i just "go my wolf attack" and then "ok wolf come back with 5 of those bandits chasing you

btw my wolf is pure str, so i dont mind about his hp.

So with the 5 bandits, i can just kill them in no time. and then...yeah..
"Go my wolf, bite them, and bring all those bandits who's chasing you

- alternative way of farming...oh yeah. Dont forget the magic key F12

Sorry for the off topic but yeah ever heard of swapping a Z06 LS motor into a Mazda RX7? Did you know there are Honda Civics smoking super cars all over the nation? You can turn a Honda CRX into a 13 second beast with as much as I bought my used Saturn SL2 for.

you are comparing a tweaked item with a standard non tweaked one

that is just ridiculous
if you cant pay a sos a +5 is a GOOD alternative, but far from being the same.
So cut these useless flames.

Base stast Yes, but try and find 2 sos with exact the same %'s.

And I never said that the +5 is better or equal to SOS. I only said that it's a good alternative if you don't have the money for SOS (and i can't really imagine a first time noob will have 6mil for a SOS bow -.-').

And to make it more fair here is a comparison to a SOS with better %:

The SOS is better in every posible way (except the price) and NO you can't compare lvl 18 weapons to a lvl 16 + nobody I know farmed at lvl 18 :roll:

Everyone seems to think SOS = +5. Where do they get this idea? It's a little-known fact that SOS is NOT the same as +5. A base SOS, with no alchemy or anything is a bit more than +5. shhhhhh don't tell anyone.

ill be the first to flame that remark and say that if you knew anything about the game you would know that the SOS doesnt have a name before it because there aren't 2 other variants of it in a specific degree because SOS applies only to the first level weapons of each degree. The name is used on the normal items to differentiate two items which are from the same degree and look the same, but are different levels.

And to be on topic, SOS is without any doubt better than +5 , as you can see in the pictures the sos had better stats that are 0% compared over the +5s stats which are like 20%. And honestly what is the point of +5ing a regular level 16 weapon, you end up selling it for less than what you bought all the elixirs for.

Imo:

Sos shield > +11 shield.

Got it? Its all bout the base stats, such as the very important blocking ratio.

Rather have a br 18 72+7 than a br 19 SOS 64+7, extra defense counts for something and unless you're lucky it's cheaper than trying to get br20+ on the SOS.

as for comparing a +5 to an SOS u cant. An sos far surpasses a + 5 in many ways. Many people think that the %'s on the 5 are way better then the SOS but look closley..if its at 0% and its already higher then the + 5's % then the % of the SOS can go so much higher, therefore the SOS PWNS a + 5 (cept in price) :O
