hi all....iam from singapore, b4 the quake which damaged the undersea cables, i do not even have a single LAG in game, now i cant even play due to almost 20 secs lag time. Iam using Starhub maxonline 12000, my friend whom stays 3 blocks away from me is using MAxonline 6000, our computer specs are quite high end gaming specs.
If for now, he can play SRO with just 1-2 secs lag but for me, up to 20secs lag.
i've called Starhub(internet service provider) to check abt my internet connactions, they say its good. instead, they ask for the games IP n PORT which SRO server uses...
ANyone can help???
how do i check the Silkroad server's ip n the port used??
or does anyone knows the IP or port???
please help me.....

I FEEL for you mate, unfortunately I and alot of others are in a similar quandry.
At least you have a Half Decent ISP Provider, you should try STREAMYX or as I refer to it STREAM LESS.
Currently, I'm experiencing 1 to 5 minute lag spikes on a continual basis, which as you can assume lead to many lag deaths (6 to be exact) with in an hour of play.
Now I'm continually being disconnected within 30-60secs of joining the server.
As to your enquiry on the Silkroad Servers Address, I did some IP Address locating but could only find 1 IP registered to Silkroad. But I have a feeling this is the Silkroad.net Website address (121.128.133.11).
Sorry couldn't be much help, but just know I understand what your going thru.

You could try the simplest route and that is going to http://www.portforward.com to see if they have any information on forwarding this game. If not I can help you by doing a quick input/output debug on it.

ya...let me tell u, i have lost 30% exp so far just because of the lag. yesterday wmy ISP called me, telling me they have not find the solution ofthis problem, guess i have to wait till the cables are finally repair. well...lag to death= lost of exp, but atleast 1 good point..can sp farm!! (@_@)

In the list of progammes, i cant find silkroadonline.
what is the others solution??
maybe u can explain to me further?
1 point to note, i do not encounter any lags b4 the quake.. its only now.
