Massive SRO Movie! Need Actors and Doubles for Roles.

I had the idea to make a long movie that would involve actual players, parties, guilds, etc about a month ago after returning to SRO from a break over the summer. I created an all new account and began kicking around ideas for the script, I am working on story boards right now and working on being able to use Final Cut Pro from my church (Final cut pro is god of movie editors, it is exactly what most Hollywood producers use to edit together movies. Everyone who participates in this movie will have a few options. If all goes well i will burn the movies to disks and mail them out to the participants, the participants can have their own voice used for their character if they so desire it, and or characters can get in game items. Notice this is not going to be a one day thing. This film will be anywhere from 20 min + depending on how much more of the script i write.

Suggestions are welcome, anyone interested can PM me, the script will be done in about a week, anyone who could lend me a full version of FRAPS (not the trial demo, i am currently using that) would be god and the main character would be named anything of their choice in the movie. Thank you to the SRO community i plan on seeing your names in the credits.

Hopefully it will be done, i would love to see it. To bad its not in Babel, cuz i cant STAR in it

on second thought i could make it a kSRO movie. plus they have much better stuff to work with in the korean version

ok until i can see how many people from the olympus server are willing to help in the movie i cant say if i will move it from olympus to kSRO or not. If you are in a guild on Olympus or have a lot of friends try to get them to help out. It will take a long time and will probably only be done on weekends. (i do a lot of sports at school)

Ok.. I got the full version of fraps, but its not really that legit.

If you are ok with 'using not really that legit' software, Xfire me : ziddy1232 and i will send you it.

BTW I'm sure my guild will be willing to participate. The guild leader is sitting approx 5 feet from me as I type, and he is willing to do it.

Sounds like a great idea, it would be all the better if you made sure khang DIDNT participate though, i think alot of people would agree.

Thank you for your input and any help from your guild blackchocob would be much appreciated. I never thought of it like Red vs Blue but maybe for some other time. No this is going to be longer, it is going to have an actual story line and script. Here is a trailer for the movie. Plain text is the narrative, inside the parathesis ( ) is what the clips will look like. I am actually putting the trailer together now and should be done by New Years Day or a little after.

I am so weak. (Clips of a friend dying) I see them and I… I can never be that strong. (Kneeling before tombstone) But I have to be strong. (Attacking an enemy) I need to protect, (Show him healing a friend) I need to defend, (Fighting in front of a city) I need to save them. (Shows people in Jangan) Because they are weak just like me… (People fighting/training outside possibly dying) This city, I need to be here to watch over it. (walk through jangan and city top walls) To watch over them. (Shows ppl faces) So they can have a better life than mine. (Greyed flashes of friend dying and me at tomb) But how can I do it? I need to learn the way of the warrior. (Attacking enemies) I need to become a leader. (Standing before jangan) I need to learn to be brave against all odds. (taking on multiple enemies at one time) I need to fulfill my destiny. (pick up packages, get on horse) Or I will never see this land again. (Riding out of gate, and shows on horse back through country side and sunset if possible)

Heh that wasn't bad, pretty cool trailer. If one's got a good imagination they can totally picture everything you wrote about. Which is a good thing, your writing isn't bad.

Ziddy the only one that sounds Chinese is Soiyoku...but I don't like that one. I don't like the word soy.

I appreciate that everyone is trying to contribute to the mov ie but until i finish the script i can not let anyone apply for parts. Blackchocob, i will keep in touch with you about this, but when it comes time for the movie, I will tell everyone this, it is not about silkroad. It uses the game as a platform for the movie but it is not about ingame play. So you and your guild wants to help it means you would have to buy cheaper armor and use that for the earlier scenes. The character will probably lvl up slowly because i am doing a full build but for the film i will switch over to a full fire bow. If you could tell me what builds you and your guild are that would help in the script a lot. Much appreciated

PS- Please dont spam about other users on this topic, it is about a movie, read the trailer script and give me suggestions/names for characters/any tips you can.

I'm not that sure about anyone else's build, I'm just listing off the two I know in RL.

I understand what you're trying to do. Not about SRO, simply using SRO's settings and characters.

Heh I personally find it ridiculously stupid to limit your members to a certain job preference. Does that answer your question? We aren't a job specific guild.

Why not have like the red vs blue team thing i heard but have traders and hunters vs thiefs.

Hunters + Traders get bandit den

Thiefs get Urichis den

Each team has 10 trade horses with 5*, winner is team that gets all 10traders into the spot circled on the map. Could film that lol.

Please make a new char. in Oasis. Make sure I'll be the leading lady. You will be a level 20. I am level 58 kidnapped by Uruchi, but I can't fight him because I was hacked and have no weapons and pots. Now level 20 player rescues me, the others will be just extras standing round to do the "Actions" (rush & joy) after you save me.

LOL im just joking (obviously), Im so sleepy and tired, i know i sound corny...lol
