Farming, Sp, Elements, +ing items.

Post by Turky »

What is a gap? People say that they have a "9 gap". Also what is farming. People always try and get like 100K sp. Why is this important? Shouldn't you use it on skills to level faster? Whats sp farming and how do you do it?

Also what are elements, Are they used to "+" and item? If so how are they used to + items? Thanks for the help. :)

1. A gap is the space between your charcter level and your highest mastery level. EG: your charcter level is 20. Your fire mastery level is 18. 20-18=2 so this means you have a "2 gap" as you said. Note that the higher the gap, the more sp gained and the less exp, but, after someone has a "9 gap" the rate at which you gain sp/gain exp remains steady.

2. Farming is having a "9 gap" and grinding with the intent of not gaining exp more profficently, but rather accumulating more sp.

3. People try and get 100k sp so that they can level fast with maxed skills at their level after they finish, because as I said before, the higher the gap, the more exp (9)

4. You asked for farming twice :P read .2

5. Elements are the product of using void rondos to 'destroy' an alchemy item. When you are grinding, you might have noticed those wierd bags with names like 'yeowas scale' or 'gunpowder' and have a long list of word that might say:

Fire element (2nd) 2 unit
Earth element (1st) 1 unit
Water element (3rd) 4 unit
Wind element (2nd) 2 unit

These are broken down by using void rondos (like I said before) and in turn, you get elements (either wind, fire, water, earth) with the corresponding level and unit as per the description.

6. Adding +'s to a weapon is done by having at least: a weapon/item/accessory you want to better, an elixir of the corresponding item type (more on that below) and, not required but highly recommended, lucky powders (that can be bought from any grocery trader) make sure to check the item degree and use the corresponding lucky powder degree. Press 'Y' to open the alchemy menu. Click on the tab 'item enhancement' (I think, check me on that) and put your weapon in the isolated slot, then place the elixir and lucky powder in the other slots.

Elixirs come in different classes:

Weapon elixirs - Use these to upgrade any weapon
Protector elixirs - Use these to upgrade armour, garment or protector pieces
Accessory elixirs - Use these to upgrade necklaces, rings and earrings
Shield elixirs - Use these to upgrade shields

Note that elixirs can only be found by monsters, or bought from other players.

*phew* hope that helped, I just wrote half a guide lol
EDIT:I wrote destroyer rondo instead of void rondo :banghead:

if you plan on sp farming and don't yet have a 9 lvl gap leave your masteries where there at( sword,fire,etc..) and raise your character lvl until you have a 9 lvl gap then start farming.
If it isn't broke, mess with it till it is.
