5 lvl difference..

Is a 5 lvl difference between my mastery lvls and my char lvl enough to get a good amount of sp to get all the skills i need [I'm a lvl 15 pure str/fire/glaive (maybe some lighting later on :roll:

)] ?

With only 2 skills a lvl 2-3 gap would be enought.

But i think I'll later take a third mastrey (lightning) to get grass walk and the skill that boosts magic dmg :roll:

One common belif in Silkroad is that light speeds up farming for a pure str user. Thats not true, coz you will need a higher gap=less XP.

Try farming with no grass wak in garms.
Then let me farm with grasswalk 12 in garms.
I will kill atleast 2x the things you do.
And if you dont use garms, it could be even higher.

A 5level gap would definitely be enough for 2 masteries. Hell, even a 2-3 or even 0 with only important skills used would be enough.

If you plan on taking lightning later on, which is a good step, then i'm pretty sure a 4 level gap (or difference, whatever tickles your pickle) would suffice for the sp needed.

So a 5 lvl gap is ok if I'm only going to lvl 3 masteries (heuksal, fire, lightning), but now i have a new question. Do i need to farm later on higher lvls or can I just keep a 5 lvl gap and have no problems with sp on higher lvls ?

In other words can i just keep the 5 lvl gap until i'm like lvl 80 or do i still need to sp farm at some point ? :roll:

prolly lvl up to lvl 20+ then de lvl back to 16.. use re-skill potions by doin' lvl 20 herbalist quest to de-lvl ur masteries.. equip with lvl 16 bow; farm awhile untill u get enough money to buy a SoX bow.. at SH mobs spawn fast and less moving..

Well if I wanted to sp farm I would have done that

, but since I don't want to sp farm I'm asking if I could keep a 5 lvl gap and be ok and not need to sp farm.

yeah, but in the end ppl tat farm in SH will catch up with u even got more SP than u at lvl 60+.. it happen to me.. well it's ur decision, just base on my experiances..

STR glave not required as much SP than INT build.. i think u'll doin' just fine..

yeah i hope so, cuz i'll only lvl glaive and fire mostly and later on get some buffs from lighting :roll:

(or maybe instead of a 5 lvl gap i'll make it a 6 lvl gap)

farm later on higher lvl it will take u years if u do that when u reach higher lvl -.-
