Hey.

Question 1/2:

I just started today playing SRO as I noticed alot of dibates on the builds for PvP.

I was just wondering, what build should I choose to be good in PvP and to lvl up fast (I dont got much spare time on my hands, so that excludes SP farming out, well not totally but, I can SP farm sometimes, but not so much.)

I want to be good (well, if excellent in PvP is 100%, winning all 1 on 1 fights, I would like to be around 60%+) in PvP and quite desent leveling up speed. I'm on a endge to choose an Archer, but I'm lost in the stat disturbance and what skills to choose.

What class would you recommend for me?

Question 2/2:

Is there a table or a certain conclusion on whitch is laid on the "who can beat that class, and who will lose to that other class"?

For example: Blader/str can kill hybrid int/staff and so on?

Thanks! I hope you would help me to make up my mind! :D

Happy leveling!

For the first question:

Fastest lvl'ing pretty good for pvp= Nuker (spear)
Slower lvl'ing good for pvp= Str glaiver
Even slower lvl'ing, tank in pvp= Str blader

if you want to lvl fast, I would recommend bow

The second question:

I really dunno, take a look around first

If you don't have alot of time, I don't suggest you to play this game. SRO needs alot of time and patience to make the right character. If you want to be good in PvP, you have to be fully farmed. You also have to have uber gear, which means you have to have alot of gold.

Bladers aren't very good at 1 v 1. They can tank like no other though, but they often can't finish. Glaivers can do the trick, but again, you need to farm to get all the essential skills. Another point about glaivers, they are one of the most popular builds out there. You either see nukers or glaivers. Nukers level the fastest by far. If you have good luck in alchemy or are rich, you can get good gear with maxed out HP additives. If you want to be an archer, you have to be really patient. You don't get good until lv 69 with devil arrow. Also, you should go pure str build with it too. To tell you the truth, any build is good to play as all have their weaknesses and strengths.

Hope that helps a little.

+1. No matter what, to be effective against others, you will need to farm eventually. Either that or leave a moderate gap while you level. It basically comes out to the same, whether you want to level slow but not stop completely, or to stop completely to farm and then level fast.

Thanks for your replys.

Well, I can play like 2-4 hours a day, should I continue playing this game?

What is a moderate gap? And at what lvl I should start farming?

I guess I choose nuker now, since archers are bad untill lvl 69. Or what is your option?

2-4 hoursa day is enough. Even at lvl 65 with 4-gap I get 10% per 3hour.

So youre fast enough :)

2nd:

No. Sro is a really equip-based game. With good equipment anything can happen.

Cool, good news then. Thanks Fadex and Priam. Btw, why you think that pure int nuker with sword will lvl up faster? I thought spear does more dmg?

Sword has more mage balance than spear and if you get attacked by several monsters you will die fast cuz low health. If your going pure I would strongely advice go sword and shield (s/s) cuz if you go spear, you have to kill your opp. in the first few hits or get creamed (In PVP). Also make sure you get a shield aleast at lvl 70 (lvl cap, will be 80 soon) with 18 or higher block, it will save your life. At lvl 70, a pure int I think has like only 4k hp without gear with int and str bonuses. If you can't afford the gear, I would recommend going hybrid to survive in PvP. Besides for Pure Str, Sword Hybrid is one of the top builds if built right. Just remember it always comes down to gear.

What about pure str bow (fire or ice or lightning?)? It will be good in PvP also if it will have a proper gear?

Alright, I think I have the answer to your questions, number 1, I would go with a bowman, first off you have the advantage with range, at higher levels they completly own in my opinion, they are good for jobs because lets say your hunter and come upon thiefs (low level) you could pop one and by the time hes down the other one could still be running at you. Also you have the benefit of mass grinding, you say that you don't have alot of time to play and SP farming is some what a problem a Archer solves the problem, you dont have to move if you in populated spot and if you have a average GAP you will rack up alot of SP in no time, since the archer can grind faster than any other build possibly faster than glaiver you will level up faster, If i was to make a archer i would make it Pure STR, Fire and nothing else i know that if you put more points into INT you get more Mana or what ever points you it would be beneficial to have that but from what I hear from alot of players is that Pure STR, and Fire archers completly own at higher levels, I hope you put this info to good use and hey if your ever on Server Tibet, PM me... xSinisterx or fine a guild member from Kill At Will. Have a good day.

Well for Pure Str Bow, go for Fire=More damage and because most ppl are ice immune at lvl cap. Ya if you have proper gear it will be good, and archers are the most fun chars to make.

Pure Str Fire Archer:

 Good vs:
Pure Int Spear
Int Hybrid Spear
Pure Int S/S
(Most Int Based Char, but not sure about Sword Hybrid [1:2])

 Weak vs:
Pure Str Blader (Cuz of KD [Knockdown], Defense, and alot HP)
Pure Str Glavier (Cuz of stun)

Archer can beat Str Glavie if they keep moving around with phantom walk. Especially after being stun and it wears off, make sure you move if you want to survive. Don't use strongbow vision cuz it takes too long and can use 2 anti-devil steel in that time.Maxed out Strongbow and Devil-Arrow damage isn't much different, plus devil adds critical. Hope that helps.

 1. There is NO best build, but just depends on gear & playing style.
 2. He didn't ask for the "best" build, but a pretty good one, and besides he's interested in being an archer. .
 3. Read before you start typing

Well, I'm an archer lvl 9 and I'm pure str, and didnt use none sp's, man its hard to lvl, but its worth it. I have about 350~400sp's ready right now. So, when the time comes, I should learn phantomwalk, what about the first lvl 12 skill whitch adds 20% to movings speed?

Oh and, GuruSikh, do you have MSN?
Oh and #2 :P, I started to play in Eldorad(or something) 'coz my all friends from school started to play there so I wont be able to play on Tibet and ask for you advice though.

Oh and #3, what does Imbue mean?

Ya it will be hard to lvl, but if you sp farm now, it will pay off later on. Yes, get all skills that help increase your moving speed.
For archer guide, check the guide section. Sry I don't have time to chat, and I play on alps, not tibet :P . Lastly, Imbue is anything in Fire, Cold, & Light Force Skills. For example like Ice river force, River Fire Force, & Thundertiger Force. Hope that helps.

Where should I farm SP? because, I haven't found any good bow, so I'm using the one from shop :(

I saw people say that I should lvl on bandit archers since they respawn really fast. Where can I find them? I'm currectly lvling at Water Ghosts. im lvl 9 and 60% with about 600-650sp.

Bandid archers are near the stronghold. If you are lvl 9, they are orange or red to you. That means you die quickly. Do not go there to farm until lvl 14 or so. Also, if your lv gets high, die to de-level your char. Wait till they are green or blue to you and go inside the strong and own them till you reach 200k+ sp. Then you can lvl as fast as you want and be good on sp till lvl 50+. Hope it helped.

shield are useless onli the defence is GREAT
+ attack ratting or accuracy to hit a shield user more often.and shield's block parry ratio does not stack with lightning parry ratio.for those smart ASS who add lightning are ****.
