Finally got a Wolf...

I saved up and now I got a Wolf! But I bought it from a guy.

The Wolf has no name, is level 10 and cost me 1, 050, 000 Million Gold.

I think that was a good deal.

Anyways... I bought around 10 of the Pet Healing Item that heals for 1000+ and the Hunger Potion.

So far so good. I wonder if this is OK or is the most obvious thing to do.

I'll summon the Wolf only in battle and when he is not in use, I will unsummon him.

When he is unsummoned, does his status freeze? Meaning that his HP and Hunger doesn't go down. Or does it heal?

Freeze status is good enough for me.

I didn't realise though that the Wolf doesn't attack automatically once you attack an enemy. Oh well.

Does anyone have tips for me? I'm currently killing Devil Bugs/Ghost Bugs and Chakjis and my Wolf is now level 14.

Jusy keep what your doing, I mean, When i got my wolf, I went Straight and fought Tigers, he lvld soo fast.

And i dont think that the status changes when they are unsummonded. I mean, Whoever heard of a scroll Getting Hungry?

Lol i bought another wolf from npc and went to penons, he leveled like one lvl each monster until lvl 10. He died like 7-8 times though

Your wolf should be auto attcking the same mobs you do. Try pressing page down.

Now down to business... Yeah I right clicked the Attack sign and fought a monster. After my Wolf attacked it, he doesn't attack anymore.

I'll try clicking Page Down. I saw that and was gonna press it but I mean, isn't right-clicking it the same thing?

Hopefully you're right, because why would the developers make it so that you have to keep clicking the attack button?

I'm currently thinking of a name for my Wolf... any suggestions?

you could have saved the 50k and bought a wolf from npc, he would lvl to 10 so fast lol depending on your lvl. i bought a wolf no name when i was 32 for 1.5mill and he was lvl 19. bad idea. but he was getting lvls up until 35-26 really fast.

When you hav your wolf spawned, you should see a toolbar at the bottom of the screen. If the teeth icon has a red line and circle through it, your wolf wont attack, right click it, and it should attack.

welsh thanks for that. My wolf now attacks automatically.

Even though his damage is small right now I'm training him hard to my level so that his damage will be decent =)

BTW, the item that feeds his Hunger, does it only heal 10 Hunger Points? I haven't used it yet since I haven't gone into a situation where I have to.

Because beside the 720 Restoration Kit, it heals 1110 HP. But beside the HGP Potion is says 10. Please tell me it doesn't heal 10 Hunger Points. That would really suck for me.

Other than that, I like my Wolf. Just need to name it =P

lolz...you waste additional 50k for 10 level...leveling your wolf is actually easy. btw, dont forget to not letting your wolf dead. you're going to and spend another 50k reviving it. i dislike the price...50k....can u imagine..

I named my wolf Dalavar. Thought that was a nice name, since it was the name of a wolfmage in a book I read.

1,050k isn't too bad. I got my wofl killed twice unfortunately because he was too weak So as long as having it at Level 10 prevents you from having it die once or twice it sounds like an okay deal.

the yellow potion heals 10% of your wolf's HGP

wolves are good, but a bore until they reach lvl40, after that you can see their real deal.

They are expensive to maintain though, worse than a chick. That's why I don't take them out during trade runs. Mine died once when two scorpion giants and a horde of the small ones rounded up on me, and I was so busy taking care of them I forgot all about my lil pooch.

Mine's named Helga(it's a GF thing). Forget Wolverine, should have been taken by the first person who got his/her hand on a wolf.

I finally got a wolf too!!! I keep it always though i never unsummon my wolf!! My wolf is lvl 9 and i just got it yesterday!! I love my wolf , but it keeps dying

I bought my wolf when I started my new character. It levels up when I do. When you're a high level, leveling it up from 1 to your level is very boring because you can't go for aggresive monsters because they will attack the wolf and kill it instantly.

Wolf is currently in ivent. because no point being out when i'm SP farming lol.

lol i got a noob char on the same acc that is my main on and i got a wolf for him he is lvl 15 and im lvl 15 pure str wid a bow lvl 8 gape and my wold is even better den my weapon if i dont finish the monster he does and he bits even harder then i can hit wid my anti devil arow and embue wolfs ftw
