Imo, the mods are closing it up because they feel they've already had enough fun in there. If they saw it as violation to the entire community, it would have been gone long time ago. If you all feel we must not have the "right" to argue for ourselves, please go ahead apply your judgement on this thread too.

Been in China for a whole week, came back, seen thread closed, a bit sad.

Ok. lets get to the main point. I think the closing of the thread is 49% of poster's fault, 50% SpiritBotter's fault and 1% admin's fault (Dont angry about it please, I am only stating my opinion).
Reason:
It is our fault because we bumped tooooo much. Really, too much. Yea, we hope the thread to be longer. BUT! Longer in the right way. We don't need extremely rubbish bumps to just reach 50 pages.

It is Spirit's fault because of his.... lack of brain. STOP ARGUING! Most of us stayed there because Spirit keeps on arguing. Since we don't want to give in to botters, we reply in harsh words which break rules. Lots of people are attracted to that thread because he fight back (he shouldn't, everyone and himself knows that he bot, the SS is obvious).

It is admin's fault because you didn't stop the spammers in time. But personally, I don't think you can stop them too. The thread was way too long. Everyone writing it went into a wrong pass.

In conclusion, we should stop complaining and continue our lives. I could live without it, I believe you can too.

Mmkay so heres what happened

I was home for lunch and decided to add the new server flags that Meglo gave me

Anywho, the copy of viewtopic.php on my hard drive still had Spirits avatar in it.

So guess what? Until I get back from work, Spirit's avatar has returned.

LOL.
