Frost Guard + Ice Passive = Worthwhile?

Okay, according to the char builder, at lvl 68 the Ice buff and passive combine for +97 physical defense. At that high of a level, will this figure make much of a difference? My char is going to wear garms, so I figure I'll need as much physical defense as I can get, but is it going to be worth the investment?

Im not that high yet, but I've heard from others that Frost guard and passive is the main reason people level cold. +97 is like adding a ninth degree shield.

It's worth it ... I chose not too, as spending 40k sp on a skill tree just for 2 skills? Buff + Passive .. no way.

I can assure you it helps allot.. altho so does castle shield / 3rd book bloody fan now -_- lol

Well, if I can farm enough sp, I'm going to experiment with the Ice Wall for pvp. So it'll be for more than just 3 skills.

ice wall is pointless unless your a archer. that and firewall are only for show the majority of the time anyway.
