It was +5 when I bought it and I got it to +6 first go, but then it failed going for +7 and 300 silk later and 8 straight fails I thought sod that and left it at +4, it's good enough for me anyway with those skills

So, your fire and lit are maxed at your lvl? 65 fire/65 lit?
What about heuksal, is that maxed out @ 65, too?
From what I saw in the video, I'm assuming that the 2nd and 3rd books of fire nuke can overlap their use. Is that right? Because I know usually different books of the same skill cannot be activated at the same time. Well, at least that's how it is for fire imbue when I tested it out.
I'm asking because I'm planning on being a nuker. Pls reply.
I saw your sos+9 hydrate in your stall, it sure did have some nice dmg, I can't imagine what dmg I'd do with that thing lol
Yeah you can overlap 2nd and 3rd they're like 2 seperate skills, it's buffs and things you can't overlap. I have ice/fire/light at 65 with pretty much everything maxed and I have enough sp to take them all the way to 69, the spear I left at 60 for now for the hp passive but that will end up 69 at the end too with a couple of skills.
One thing I've noticed lately is the imbues themselves don't alter much in damage, I can 1 shot those things for basically the same dmg with the 1st book of ice imbue as well. The main changes in books seem to be more of the length of time and the amount of status effect.
With the 4th fire imbue, if you time it right just before the first nuke is launched you can land 3 nukes and a lion shout. I can kill those giants in just 3 or 4 imbues.

Yeah I'm so glad I farmed where and when I did, I don't like the cave much, you target a monster and as your nukes charging someone attacks it, it gets blown away for 10k and they think you ksed, I know I should stay in my spot but I clean my corner out so fast I run out of things to kill sometimes lol

I'm just curious, when and where did you farm Mamba? And how long did it take you? I'm on my way to opening up a 9 level gap at 42 and I just want some idea of how long it'll take.
The best one was probably the one where your Level 55. What weapon were you using and what was the level of your nukes? That's amazing for orange monsters.

I farmed from the start of september to the end of november, 2k a day about and ended up with 135k. I left the skills at 48 and got ice, fire and light to 48 with maximum what I could have. And I gradually built up a big gap each level so by 57 the gap was 9 and I kept that till the end, after a while I stopped picking up the elements cuz i had so many, I set it to gold and items only that way I could just run around the whole ice and kill anything I wanted without the monkey filling up with too much alchemy stuff. First couple of weeks was tough, kept wanting to give up but I'd already been in the cave before and hated it so keeping that in mind was good. We had weekly gp contests in blackhand to see who could get the most and that helped too cuz I like these little goals to work for, after a while it just became second nature, even looked forward to it eventually, working towards every little 10k, once I could 1 shot them all it became better, it's worth doing though definately. You'll never ever get a chance like that again. Only two places are the bandit den at 16 where you have to keep delevelling or the penons and those are more better if your int.
Being there for so long too I was able to buy a whole sos set, most of which I still use cuz the blues ended up nearly all 100%, had all the time in the world so I just kept maxing everything which is what you can see in that level 58 yeti video, I never died while farming, only if it lagged badly.
The 55 video I did was with an sos+5 all blues maxed spear with the skills around level 48, the dmg has always been good cuz I've had int 4 or 5 on nearly everything, even now I'm not wering any 8th, I sold a couple of them so far cuz I found ones that were almost as good, just sucks to outgrow them all now. Trying to stay on those power earth ghosts as long as I can while the gear still saves me.
When the 80 cap comes I'll probably try and take my time, I'm probably pretty unique in that I don't ever job or pvp, I just like to grind and build something really special, I'm gonna try and get 4 trees with the word MAX on every box lol and I think I'll have that by 80. After that I dunno what I'll do, I'll try not to think of it much lol, I'd pvp maybe but I'd get bored with it quick.

lol peebz, I think I'll get the whole story saved to notepad so I can just paste it when someone asks me.
Yeah I'll make a guide someday, there's loads of little tricks that makes things easier that most ppl probably don't know, eg. having just 3-4 spaces in your monkey is actually a 100 times more easier to manage than an empty one and lets you repot and grind again in about 2 minutes.
Plus knowing when to do a quest, when not to, when to grind orange monsters, all makes a big difference. Just things you pick up from trial and error.

I was there from when you first started farming and when you finally finished. So I know the emotional rollercoaster it was for you, some really hard days and some good days, but never once did you want to give up. I can't tell you enough of how proud I am to see you accomplish your goals. And even more proud that you did it all 100% legit. And with the new cap raise, watch out here comes Black_Mamba
Just started farming now at 52. I'm hybrid int, so I guess it will take a little longer for me to get that amount of sp. And no sos spear. So I'll do better at the mujis then the penons at this state.
2-3 month with a 9 gap is way better then grinding together with all high level botters

Here you go, just managed to get a 61k pic as it was fading away. My keyboard has a function key I have to hold down to press print screen, so it's a bit awkward pressing 1-5 and then function+print screen really fast.
Only 3k less than Hydrate who has a sos+9 with 100% blues, I wonder if I could almost hit 70k with a sos+9

There is a spot at blood death flowers that has three constant spawns... for a nuker with lvl 30 skills and a lvl 38+3 spear u can one hit all day and get 144sp per kill(no GT of course) in a full party, which is better than the 136sp per kill @ the stronghold... and one hitting makes it very difficult to be ksd unlike in the stronghold.
If i leave alchemy drops alone(barring the good tabs) i easily make about 2mil per trip, usually better if i destroy all the items, wind 4 selling @ 2k per unit and i make about 2mil off the wind 4 alone...
No ksing like in the stronghold, and no running around like on the ice... at flowers its click and hit your skill = dead flower. i built a full set of som armor all +3 all maxed int and str, oh but the hose are sosun +3's with the mean blues too, so...
if you are planning on bulding a nuker and want to get out of the madness of farming the stronghold or want to avoid the pale mindlessness of chasing mobs on the ice... find the constant spawn of the three blood flowers ^^
