I'm talking about weapons and armor which has a (+X) beside their name, where X is a number.
Can someone tell me why these are so great and so expensive?
I also want to know how to determine price for such weapons and equipments with the (+X).
Right now, I just got my one of my Body Garments a (+2) but it didn't gain any new stats at the bottom (the light blue writing) and the numbers like the phy. defense and such, only rose by a couple of numbers.
I think originally, the armor was around 8 ish. After I used elixirs and such to make it +2, the phy. defense only went to around 10-11. For me, that isn't such a big change............is it? Or is that actually a big change?
But yeah, those are the things I want to know in terms of (+X) equipment.
Thanks in regards
JHawks.
How do you determine price for '+' stats?

Well JHawks
I can tell you that the (+X) referes to the over all abilities of the item
for example an item with +3 has higher stats then a +1 item....the
higher the +, the better the item
and any increase to an item, no matter how small is a good thing.
As for price it really depends on you, just set each item to sell a few
10,000 above what you think it should be...so say a non + item may
sell for 200k, so you sell your +1 item for around 230k.

To further explain, a 24+3 weapon would be comparable to a Lvl27 plain weapon, if such a thing existed =p
The pluses only raise the top two values (phys and Mag attack or defense). But yes, they do make quite a difference and that's why they cost more. Blues come from stones and pluses come from elixers.
And ya, pricing-wise, +1 or +2 doesn't add that much overall, maybe 10-40K to the price depending on the item. However, +3 and greater is much more sought after because with +3 your weapon or shield has a nice glow effect to it - of course this makes it very very desireable so people will pay a premium price for +3 stuff, more so for +5 and so on.
If you look around you'll see the glowing weapons. The ones that look like they're in a swimming pool are +3, if it's similar (no particle effects) but red, that's +5, yellow/orange at +7, green/blue at +9.
The more pluses the harder they are to achieve and that's another reason for high pricing. Getting to +5 could easily cost you a couple million in weapon elixers if you don't have great luck. Furthermore you risk, breaking or permanently damaging items when you do try to plus them up. So yeah, hope that help more, sorry I'm long-winded.

And it may help to think of it like this in some cases, +5 is nearly equivalent to SoS gear. So you can do some price comparison there to get an idea of what a +5 could sell for.
