Blader's fate?

after this update, what will be the fate of bladers if they knock-down hardly (90-70=20% reduce), cannot freeze?

will glaivers and nukers the new conqueror of the server :shock:

when your lv is 90, your knockdown skill is still 69, so the difference of level will reduce 21% of your knockdown probability, so your new knockdown prob is 50-21=29%, say if im wrong

Yeah, and hopefully they'll update the skillz.
But yeah, bladers will be lowered, but still kd > stun!

As far as I know it is:
KD chance = 50% - (( the difference between opponent and skill) * 0,5)

In other words this will be about 45% with the new lvl cap, and about 40% with lvl 90 cap.

Bladers for life... the update will make is nearly obsolete. KD is lowered, higher defense for other players due to new higher 8th degree items/weapons. Lets see what happens.

KD is 50% regardless of lvl. I seen lvl 80+ bladers fight on ksro and their kd % seems like it hasn't been effected at all.

who said you can't raise your skills? They've only said no change in the level cap.

If you are at 300 you may need to rethink your build.

Nope it's not.

It has been proven in the past that the % will decrease as the level of you're opponent increases

It does decrease when fighting some higher but saying its decreases just because there is no lvl 70+ kd skill isn't true. It still works.

The chance to stun will always be the same.. and well KD might decrease by 5/10%.. it will still be more then stun and worth using it.

And bladers will do ok if you ask me, cmon you have:
- more phy/mag defense and parry
- crit reduce
- block

...

yeah well maybe it does, since there's not (yet) any 70+ to test it on. Would make sense though if they'd designed it that way.

Um yeah knockdown is ALWAYS a 50% chance to knockdown don't know where you got your info but no update is going to change that 50% chance... The only way knockdown can be reduced is through alchemy, I think. Other than that, it's always going to be 50% chance to knockdown, skill level has no effect on that.

No Zero, it's not always 50%. The only skills that ignore levels are stun and knock-back, always 30% and 35%. ( Go Glaivers =D )

Hidden blade series can only knockdown targets of a certain level. Of course you can still KD lv 80 later on, but the probability has been reduced, which isn't that efficient anymore.

Here's the hidden blade series description.
1st book.
"An attack which has a chance to knock the target down.
Can only knock down targets of a certain level.
A knocked down enemy can only be attacked by one of Killing Heaven blade series.
Physical attack power 42-51(200%)
Knock-down 50%(lv 19)"

Notice that bold ? 2nd and 3rd books are more likely the same. Only level and damage difference. If you use this on lv 19 player, it has 50% chance to KD him. if it's higher, the chance is reduced.

Nothing to argue about. Kd will still work just fine when cap is raised.

stun may have the same % but the time it lasts is longer when maxed, so the time stun lasts will decrease but the % will stay the same.

dont even argue about it, its obvious a fully farmed glaiver with maxed glaive skills has longer stun than a glaiver farming with 61 masteries. lol.... if you haven't noticed you must be blind O.o

my lvl 42 knocked down a lvl 70 3 times in a row, psssh on %s

Yeah I'm a blader and I use KD all the time. I can KD lv 70 with 1st book skill too. But with lower probs. I dont like to depend my fate on LUCK.

Well, if you wanna stay Blader, go for it. I never insist anyone here.

3-4 times in a row ? Let's aside KD, I've done crit 5 times in a row too with a weapon crit 6. But it rarely happens. You want to depend on luck, go for it. Im no game.
