That was my first character thought he looked cool with the tatoos and fangs.
He looks weird when running with a spear/glaive

Hmm, that sucks that people would be complaining about a topic so seemingly simple. Maybe the topic should change to why you chose the gender of your character? Would that be less offensive?

me and my gf share the same character in SRO, she picked a female character and i prefer it too. I don't see anyone having any problem with that anyway.

it's just a game, so chill out. Even if you're a male and u pick the opposite gender for this game or any other games, you are still you and it certainly doesn't mean you have to go for a sex change operation. So screw those who don't like you picking the opposite gender for the game, they're probably jealous that you look "hot" anyway.

They choose NightElf, and Human and try and get them to look like a sl*t (not sure if I can say that or not)

I play a male char, cus it made sense since i'm male, but i can totally understand people playing a female char. For instance, the 7th and 8th degree look like rubbish on a male char (fatty food anyone?), whereas on a female char they look way better.

ermz, atleast nobody posted a pre patched ss of a male char, from when the chars were almost nekkid, that would be pretty gay

about the looking like your char irl: I wouldn't wanna see them WoW players with Tauren or undead if it where true

btw I also picked the chick who carries the polearm class weapons on her back while running, and places it vertically nxt to her while standing, I also made her as small as possible, and as fat as possible, so I play a small female with big hoo hoos

Well, if it's a female character, I am used to thinking that the owner is a female player and not a male. When I talk to them, I'll say something that is meant to be said to a female [Like "hey babe", "what you wearing", "give me some suga"], but since most of the time it's a male, they get upset.

OK, to set the record strait, everyone knows Pluss44 is a big time botter who hides in the caves and comes out only to thieve and pvp. When confronted with botting he does not deny it but only says "you can't prove that"The fact that he had to use chat from me in his sig is actually a little flattering but I find it a little tacky. I was actually there.As you can see in the chat log.I specifically asked him if was a guy IRL.He got mad at that question obviously.I didnt attack him about it.I was asking a simple question and got my head bit off..But Satayne DID NOT say there was anything wrong with him being a guy IRL and a girl on the game...It was more of the other guy that was there that went on and on about it.I dont know who that guy is..he just ran across us as we were talking to Plus44.

And basically this was all about a trade and him thieving it.Which is fine.I have done all jobs in the game.However he wasnt able to get me and i was the one who made it to town.He was gloating to the others about stealing there stuff so i went back to gloat at the fact that i got away with my trade.Soon there after he murdered Satayne.....

And to the guy that said something about hiding in the bushes to do trades..Erm im pretty sure Plus44 came out of the bushes and attacked me first.But i got away.But thats neither here nor there..Its all about survival and doing your job to the best of your ability..PERIOD lol..

I choose my Female char not for looks......not cause I'm female.....and well I may or may not be a perv but.......I choose female because after playing for a while using a male char I realized female gear was by far cheaper between 10-50% cheaper. Its a supply and demand thing. There are tons of male chars, and fewer female chars.

Exactly. That's why I use female characters from now on. I have a male character, my first SRO character, but after having to sell all my drops I decided I'd go female and now I get drops I can actually use. To hell with what other people think. It's a game and he probably has issues irl.

Really? There seem to be a lot of female players that I see, so I would think their armor is only 5-10% cheaper max... :banghead:

I have 3 characters on my account, two male, one female. I made the female to take advantage of the female drops and found I like to play her more than the others. Its not because shes female, its because shes an archer and I found that soloing an archer is just more fun than my spear or blade characters.

Ive played MMOs for 10 years now and have seen guys play females and gals play males for many reasons:

Gals playing males so they dont get hit on in game.
Guys playing females so they can con the guys out of gear.
Either playing either for RP reasons or because the look better...

The bottom line is, if you want to play a character different than your real live gender, have at it! Its called "Role Playing". No one should have a problem with it.

If you get upset when preteen boys hit on you, maybe you should play a male character. If you get upset when you hit on a female character and find out its a guy playing her, maybe you should try curing your sexual frustration somewhere other than in a game.

Face it kiddies, just because you get a chub at the sight of a scantly clad female toon you dont know "what" controling that toon. Is it a guy? Is it a girl? is he/she 7 or 70? Is he she 105lbs or 405lbs? Is he/she a cute little church goer or an ate up crankster tweaking at the computer all night?

Like i said before, if you feel tingle in your jeans seeing a female toon its time to get off the game and try meeting people in the real world. If not you future will be that of a 45 year old man hitting on 13 year olds in an AOL chat room and a guest appearence on a national television show...
