Every community includes a multitude of voices and opinions, and this "go play WoW response is getting tired. Of course you have a right to continue to say it (until Ryoko outlaws such things), just as chaud has the right to express his views.

I may not agree with them but I do value them for he sometimes offers an experienced view of certain game aspects that I hadn't considered, and from this point of view, I offer that I am glad he chose to continue participating in the forum.

Of course, it's funny to see everyone jumping on the "OMFG this is great" bandwagon, and I can just see the same voices posting how "darn those bots, I can't level in Taklan without being ks'ed by one!!"

This may be the case andthen again maybe it won't

All chaud was saying was "let's wait and see".

Since when has Joymax ever come through with anything as promised on iSRO?

No, they will all spawn like normal, there's just another unique added.

The only way I am affected by this update is through the christmas one since I am no where near lvl 70 and well I dont plan on switching servers anytime soon. I just hope the christmas one is pretty cool and I can make some cash from it .

A much delayed Christmas event wouldn't be a Christmas event and a similar event has already occurred last year. Also the Thanksgiving event was on time AND extended...

Three updates is a bold move that should be made with confidence.

The biggest concern for me now is the lag which seems to have gotten worse since the Thanksgiving event. One or two months before TG the lag was quite good 24/7. Now the lag is rickety 24/7 on and off.

Bots remain a problem but summons help a lot.

had you read the update notes you would see that they are adding top tier 8th degree items. No mention of 9th.

For your enjoyment through this winter season, we have prepared a big update for Silkroad Online. Prepare yourself for the exciting new experiences to come.

Update #1: New Server
We will be opening a new server, our 16th.
New Server name: Pacific
Open date: 12/6/2006 (Revised Date)

Update #2: Takla Makan Update (Update Date: 12/19/2006)
- Level cap lifted to level 80.
- Takla Makan map opened.
- A new Unique Boss introduced; Lord Yarkhan.
- Level 60~80 Takla Makan monsters added.
- Level 60~80 Takla Makan quests added.
- 8th Degree high level Items available

Update #3: Christmas Event (Update Date: 12/19/2006)
- So-Ok's Christmas gift: a reindeer you can ride.
- A powered up version of the monster summoning scroll: Pandora's Box.

Eewbabel to be honest i think there's a lot more "kids" playing silkroad than WoW.

Remember that silkroad is free, even a 7 year old can figure out how to create an account, where WoW requires you to download it, fill out a shitload of info / or buy it from a store + a credit card to pay for it monthly.

Furthermore it is A LOT more advanced than silkroad, and i actually wouldnt say its your average "kiddy game"

Another fun thing i noticed about wow btw is how positive everyone is.

Might be due to the fact that you dont have to deal with lag + dc + server traffic + bots + ksing + immortal ccf vns + immortal unlegit unions blablabla, which all might reflect on your mood ingame.

Also the triangle system in sro was from the start doomed to make people hate each other lol.

I requested a GM because i had a problem with a quest, he pmed me after 5 minutes and helped me with it

My point being, dont talk down to chaud for playing wow, i actually think he's having a lot more fun than most sro players ;-]

looks like shousuke got ahead of me, I tought it was already posted so I read the whole thread just to find shousuke post it 15min. ago -.-, well the new server shall be coming with today's maintenance, the Update#2(lvl cap, new map, blah, etc.) and Update #3(Christmas event, reindeer, blah) shall be coming in the "two week's" maintenance ( Dec. 19 )

So basicaly Dec. 20 is the official "Disconected from Server" Day.

its more luck i got uruechi peak time but i was stalling so 1: had to switch chars back so 10mins gone, then found BUT no zerk


point been you just gota hope you find what ever unique your after first and hope no one comes who is stronger then you


btw im only mid 50's so its not like im uber strong enough to beat pure ints at level 50 who can survive him

There is ALWAYS a level 60+ that ks me for TG
