i +9' my sos 64 spear !!

i got this sos +7 spear off doubleageat for a sos +0 crit 13 glavie ..it had 6 astral already on it already and i put a lucky stone on it when i first got it..so anyways i felt real lucky and i told myself id go for +9 at least 2 times ...well i went for +8 and yes it worked! i had another lucky stone from destroying things and i put that on it..and i gave ti to kamakura to +9 and he did it! lol 2 weapon elixirs 2 lucky stones and 2 powders and its +9 im gonna add another lucky jsut so it has another blue...yes most likely the spear was ccf'd but like i said...i didnt even use any silk

1 by 1 each failure or add a few try a few times ?
