Pys/Magic Defence, compairing 2 SP farmers. HELP

Basically I'm pure int and my mate Hulio is pure str, both lvl 19, but our Phs/Str Defences are wildy different. We do have blue +int/str garments on that aren't the same but there pretty simliar.

The reason I bring this up is we summoned some Tigers durign the event with the scrolls, Hulio got owned hard and died where as I managed to tank 4 of them then another 4 of Hulios after he had died. The problem for him was that they were using there magic attack and hitting him for 200hp, and they were only hitting me with the same attack for 3-5hp.

So we compaired defence,

Foxiladi - pys, 47 mag 137
Hulio - psy, 59 mag 87

Surely our defences should be similar but the other way around? As you can see my mag defence is huge compaired to his pys. Or maybe we're just missing something.

Mag defence is allways bigger especialy on a pure int.

I'm assuming your wearing garment and he is wearing armor? Or something like that?

When adding str or int u also increase your phy/mag defense...

Try nuking a nekkid pure str and a pure int, you will notice the pure int takes less damage, but if u try phy. attacking a pure str, and a pure int, the pure str will take less damage... thats the only reason pure str wears garment and pure int armor, making themselves "hybrid" defense-wise...

I made a pure str char only so i can wear garment and run fast lol

Nope both Garments. Thats why we don't get the massive difference.

iGod - yeah but surely they should be the same values but the other way around, as we have pretty much the same stats?

But I've got + 50 magic def through being full int, but Hulio only has + 12 psy defence for being full str. Meening that I'm always going to have a bigger % def difference than him.
