Ummm...i was talking about stardom. In hollywood, U dont see 1 biggest star (eg Tom cruz is the best actor hands down). In bollywood that was the sensation he created.

Also, since Bollywood gets more revenue and profits than hollywood(its true, Indian ppl love their movies), he can b called the biggest star. Now, in bollywood, there are more stars, movies and profits than holywood. The only field where hollywood is bigger is porn O.o

also sine he duz hindi movies and most ppl in the world dont know hindi, most ppl havent heard of him.

that being said, I really do enjoy watching these movies, especially when some of the characters (the usual good guys) are the scammers and botters and the bad guys in the real movies r the good guys

I could say that he was considered number 1 b/c everyone else was crap or that weren't many good actors.

I could say those films make more b/c they don't have the production values of their hollywood counterparts which means they don't take as long to make. Also movies is/was the #1 source of info in India b/c they're a lot of poor people, etc, who can't buy tvs/radios so of course there's going to be more of a turn-out.

Lol, im beginning to like this debate too! Well, if you did some research on acting in the 80's, you will find that there was an enourmous cast of really good actor. He just shown above the rest.

And movies never were the number 1 source of info in india...and who said india is a poor country? In my grandparents house, they have 4 TV's (though I admit the biggest 1 is only 42 inches), and they are middle class.

And indian movies take waaayyy longer than hollywood ones. (around 1-2years) and are usually longer (3-4 hours).

i do admit india does have a poverty problem, but this is only around 60%, india is still trying to overcome this issue.

At the same time though, India has a huge economy (it literally controls the IT market, with major companies like Microsoft making huge investments). the main reason for this is most indians r highly educated and know english. Also the steel industry's biggest comapny is an Indian one ( I forgot the name; im not that much of a nerd, lol)

Just do some research on him (as a matter of fact, he is still doing movies now, even though he is 70 something and rolling with cash (I think he owns 2 Rolls Royce, 1 lexus, and 2 mercedes). Now however, there are wayyy more stars (noone can take the spot light).

What he basically was is like JAckie chan in the martial arts feild---a legend. I also like ur movie. LD

u guys cant bomb the shit out of us.. cuz u stupid americans (wait wtf am i saying; i have an american passport O.o) dont even know that india is a nuclear country with its own missile defence system (not as good as the american one, but itll do the job).
