All i know is that Botting isnt fun, and by playing yourself you earn great ingame memories to and great friends all around the world. Botting just gets you enemies around world.

Oh yeah and we all do have lives, probably even more entertaining then yours. This is just a hobby and its just meant to escape reality for like an hour or so. Jeezus just cuz we play a computer game doesnt mean that we all stay in doors 24/7. All this bot talk bores me. There are ppl who plays SRO for fun and also ppl who plays SRO seriously.
You don't fall in any of those categories. For ppl who wanna have fun, they don't need to bot, for ppl who plays SRO seriously, they prefer to lvl their character themselves.
I am a married man with a job, and i don't see the point in botting.
The fun in SRO is not only at lvl70. At lvl 70, it just means you got nothing much left to do but to wait till the next patch.
MMORPG, its a mass multiplayer game, the best part of the game is the interaction between players, that's y we play it isn't it?
You pay money to bot, at the end of the day, you get a LVL70 character and u r left with nothing much to do. We play for fun, we pay for silk, build and lvl our characters.

BTW, not only underaged kids hate botters. and one who does not bot does not means he/she has no social life. Look up social life in the dictionary.

Although you're not a mod I agree.

However, I can see why everyone would come say their 2 cents about this idiot cause thats what forums are about. But alot of people are getting off into their personal battles with each other.

I find it pretty low that a person would come here post about this such a topic mention military (with what all is going on over there) and get everyone acting crazy about it. Everyone main point about botting is "If you do not have the time and have too much of a life to play" Don't Play! End of the Story. erm, for a 25 year old who has a wife and kids..that was a lot of typing.

First and foremost, you are a botter, which means you use a 3rd party program, which means you are doing ILLEGAL activities.

I could not begin to picture the kind of example you show, or are planning to show, your children when they reach their teenage years. If you can't simply let go of gaming, then do it on your spare time. You dont have to spoil the game for everyone by being a cheater. You might argue it does not affect them, but mentally it does. It discourages people to continue to enjoy the game..because of people like you. Selfish, greedy, self-righteous people like you.

And you can always argue that you only bot so you could enjoy the game more. But at who's expense? You spoil the fun for everyone. My friend, I think you're old enough (or hopefully mature enough) to understand why games are made.

From my point-of-view, your long sad explanation of why people bot is a desperate attempt to attain the sympathy of others (and the empathy of other botters - cheaters.) You're 25, you've got a wife..and she's an RN, which means she makes quite a decent amount of money. If you don't have the time to play the game properly, then just don't..for the sake of others, and it would set a good example to your kids when they grow up.

There are other ways to enjoy your freetime. Why would you need a game if you've got your children and your wife to spend time with anyway?

If one day your kid's teacher gives you a call from school, telling you your child was caught cheating on a test or a quiz, think back.

Oh, and I forgot to mention..the only reason why me and a lot of other people leave our stalls open is because, unlike bots, we dont often get rare items such as SoS or some other nice stuff because our characters dont grind 24/7. Might wanna think about that next time your bot gets a rare drop

Noo what happens is they go out and wipe a small trade run.. Laughing at the people who worked there asses off for what they have. When they put no effort into the game. Or when your grinding and having almost every kill KS'ed or attacked by a bot. Bots take the fun out of the game for everyone else. Sad thing is they don't care they are killing the game or that it forces those of use who do play to leave. All that money you spent will be all for not because you have no one to show it off to.

Its the fast food world we live in. Make money doing nothing, taking whats not yours and never accept blame even when your caught. SRO is a mirror of real life. To much for my taste.

Ohh well.. Time to find a new game.

You don't need to be the best to be happy.
Legit players do have a life. But legit players who play 14+ hours per day do not have a life.
Buying silk don't make you more superior to the rest of the players who don't buy silk.
The game itself is not the most important when you play SRO. It is the friends whom you made.
With a bot, you will never have any fun in a game.
