Dragon Flag prices

they'll go up without a doubt.. as time goes on.. they'll become more and more rare and people will want them more then they do now.. i mean just think in 6 months, of all the people who will move on.. or quit.. or both? anyway, tons of flags will stay on their char and disappear from the server.. and as more people hit the 70 cap, finding ways to get stronger will lead to buying these.. i've heard ppl say they'll go up to 20m likely within 6 months.. it wouldn't suprise me

I bought mine for 800k on the first day of the event.. I didn't realize they'd go up so crazily.. neither did the guy i bought it from, i bet...

I don't think it's useless. I like wearing them while grinding. And I'll wear it in guild wars.

the flag price will go up coz once event is over, theres only a limited amount on the server

Damn, they do not sell for even 5 millions on RedSea. Plus there is a lack of male flags, while you can find female ones in every fifth stall in Hotan. o_O

heh! On the first day of the event I saw a trader selling 2 for 2.5Mil each - I thought "What a rip off!" and left em...

2nd day of the event - they were selling for 6 - 10Mil! >_<

4th day of event after too much searching I get a female 1 for 1.8Mil, shortly after get a lucky straight trade for a male 1 - happy bunny ^__^

Now Prices stabilised at about 4Mil for fem - 6Mil for male

Seen people offering to trade their fem +1Mil for a male one...

sweet 2 day event extension should see them a bit cheaper

OK, I see comparisons to Santa gear. But this is not the same as Santa gear. Is there a job suit that looks like Santa gear? The dragon flag looks almost exactly like a red flag, but it has a gold trim. You can't buy a job suit that looks like Santa gear, can you?

I could understand if the flag would look different, maybe if it were rainbow-colored with frills and tassels...or something. LOL. But no, this flag looks just like a red flag and people are paying ridiculous prices for it.

Hey, why am I ranting? I should be happy that we can capitalize on this. Blah, maybe I'm just hoping the prices will drop.

I've seen them sell for up to 15 mil on venice. I do agree that prices will go up after the event ends. After some time, people will stop selling these flags and they will become more rare. Hence higher prices.

It's just like with the black devil suits. Before the event, you'd be lucky to find one for 850k from a stall in Hotan. Now everyone seems to sell them for 500k. Devil suit prices will go up as well.

Well as a lvl 70, fully farmed character with an SOS set, full blues, etc... would you want to be the only one without a dragon flag? You'd look poor. ;-)

Besides, when Joymax raises the level cap, if you have the dragon flag, you'll have an advantage over a lvl 70 that doesn't have one. Having str+2 and int+2 is almost like having your character level up by 1. True you can get a ring or something with int+3 and str+3 for much cheaper than this dragon flag, but if your lvl 70 already has str+5 and int+5 stats on all equipment, the dragon flag just adds that much more so you can grind when the cap is raised.

Just my $0.02, coming from a lvl 3x

I don't have one so I'm just presuming they can't be used for Trading, Thieving or Hunting i.e. just grinding. I guess it could be annoying when you change to a job suit and find you don't do as much damage.

If you've got the cash to burn then why not have one, however, I wouldn't make a special effort trying to save enough money for it.

Myself, i didn't get a gold dragon flag after going through about 100 boxes. It dosen't really bother me, and i do think that the price will increase seeming that after the event ends no-one will be able to get anymore than there already are so there will be a fixed amount of them on each server.

I see people around in stalls trying to sell their 1 mil hunter/trader/thief suits but to be honest it's a complete waste of time because others (if their not completley stupid) will try to see if they can find one themselvs.

I did what i think is the smart thign to do and i put all my 1 mil suit finds into storage and i'll wait a couple of months and then try to sell them for a higher price. It's the same with 500 hp & mp scrolls, movement scrolls, dodging, hit scrolls. I think there is around 10 mil to be made out of these items but all that is left is a short time period to wait.

Well thats what i have to say and as for those gold dragon flags i dont really give a shit because joymax completley copped out by making them look exactly the same as the trade flags therefore there is nothing exclusive and special about them except for the blue stats that comes on it. I can also understand that this is a good investment for capped players because they need all the extra stats they can get.

For me it's just another useless overpriced item i see everyday. :wink:
