Guild-Guide??

Post by Illyriah »

Hello all

I tried to find informations about guilds by searching this forum, but I can't find the answers I am looking for.
Hopefully one of you can answer, or post as an answer the link ti an already existing link. :)

Okay my questions:
What exactly is the benefit of being in a guild?
What is the benefit of bringing the guild to the next level(s)?
Can member of a guild get xp/sp/gold as a reward for something (if yes, for what?)
What is the benefit of a union to other guilds?
Members of a guild collect guild points (gp) - does the amount of the gp depend on the sp they made - or on the xp - or on the amount of kills?
In the guild menu are some buttons available when you are in a guild, is there a definition (with screenshots of this menu) what each part is good for?

Unfortunatly I think more questions are coming soon, I hope you will be patience with me.

Thank you all for your help and sorry for my "beginners-english".

What exactly is the benefit of being in a guild?
-- comradary, friendship, help, information, lots of stuff... i mean who like to play games alone?

What is the benefit of bringing the guild to the next level(s)?
--more members, guild bank, alliances, and supposedly guild quests later on

Can member of a guild get xp/sp/gold as a reward for something (if yes, for what?)
--wha? gold if someone gives it to you o.O

What is the benefit of a union to other guilds?
-- same answer as #1, but multiply by 8 in a full union

Members of a guild collect guild points (gp) - does the amount of the gp depend on the sp they made - or on the xp - or on the amount of kills?
--sp.. believe its 1:1 sp for gp and gets updated every 10

In the guild menu are some buttons available when you are in a guild, is there a definition (with screenshots of this menu) what each part is good for?
-- provide me with one and i'll try lol i dont wanna pull up my SRO right now and edit stuff

Someone told me, the Guildmaster will get a reward for the guild after a Guild War by using function War realation.

Can I be sure not to become a murder in a guild war?
What about people standing close to such a war, just watching and do they get damage from a lighting spell?
Are people of my guild like people of my party - so I can't attack them by mistake (f.e. in a war)?
Is a guild war like PvP (without loosing xp when you are dead and without getting xp)?

Thanks again
Illyriah

PS
I am now not able to go into the game but in the evening I will write down all names of "unknown" buttons ;)

Hi,
Can I be sure not to become a murder in a guild war?

There was a possibility that some ppl left their guild when under fire thus making you murderer. There was a change. Some better informed people then me will surley provide details ;-))

And I'd like to add another question:

A Lvl 2 guild not only costs insane amounts of gold, but gets guild storage: How much storage?

Thx & have fun!

If 3 million gold for the upgrade to level 2 seems a bit high to you, then you have no need for guild storage. Guild storage is more of a function designed to be used with larger sized guilds performing raids/group runs/etc and wouldn't be needed by any means if that upgrade seems high to you. Mainly, a guild serves an organizer for friends or a way to make new friends you can trust.

If the leader is gone for a period of 45 days or more, go to a Guild NPC in any town, and choose "Vote New Leader" or something or rather....Then everyone who is online in the guild at the time of the vote, votes on who the new leader should be. :)

Hope this helps.

.:Guild Wars:.

Once a guild war is initiated, the opposing guild's name will appear RED to you. At this time, you will be able to kill anyone from the opposing guild, without fear of murder status or any other penalty. You do lose xp when you die, however, if my memory serves me correctly, (it's been awhile since i've warred), it is around the same amount you'd lose if you were a thief dying to a hunter.

You get more points if you kill someone higher lvl than you, and there are safe zones in wars. If you kill someone considerably lower lvl than you (like me as a lvl 40, getting nuked by a lvl 52+), then you only get one point. Killing people around your lvl or so gives a decent amount of points. The rewards of a guild war are decided before the war begins, and is something both leaders agree on. After the war the leader can collect the reward from a Guild NPC.

Well thats about all i can think of at this time...Uhhm. I probably left alot out...whatever... lolz.

Another thing is, the only possible way to join another guild the same day you leave your current guild, is if you go offline and have another member kick you from the guild when you are offline. There is no other way to join a different guild in the same day...The day I left my rome guild "Fu*in_Classy" i was kicked when i was offline, and when i signed on later that same day, I joined "Epic_Empire". So yeah....Thats just another little footnote or whatever you want to classify it as...

Welp goodbye now :)
