How do I resurrect somebody, or myself?

To res someone else: Shift+Click the person, then use the skill.

You can't res yourself with the skill. Only other people can res you. The only way you can res yourself is to go back to town.

if you have a res scroll....which can be brought from Item Mail.

Which skill is it?

...I have a lot of really basic questions and the guide on silkroadonline.net doesnt seem very good. can somebody point in the direction of where i can find out basic info like this?

Yea sure...to find the skill you need press "S" while in the game,
click on "FORCE"....and i think...its the skill callled "life force"

as for a guide to the game...sorry but i cannot help you there....sorry

In the skills menu, go to the force (magic) abilities. then go to force abilities. It's the fourth ability down. You need a minimum level and force mastery level of 17 to get it. Its picture looks like this:

And as was said before, to use it on someone, you need to be holding down shift as you click on them. As for help, if the in-game guide (hotkey H) was no good to you, the guides in this site are pretty easy to find and understand. Just look at the stickied posts.
